This whole scene is amazing, one of the best in the movie. Claudia i'm in 1103 is possibly the greatest line in the scene. What gives it a run for its money is I just said twisting your arm to Munson; I can't wait to tell people.
@@Optimusprimerib36it was in the script because she does in fact remember his room number and uses it to set up Big Ern by making her ex boyfriend think Ern has his money.
“You just shut up, mister. I don’t know who the heck you think you are, but if you don’t wiggle those child-bearing hips out that door in 5 seconds…” Just genius.
McCracken interpreting Munson's line "not a day has gone when I haven't thought about you" as an endearing comment about missing him rather than a threat is so hilarious.
From everything I've heard about what it's like to work with Bill, I get the feeling that Big Ern is probably pretty close to his true personality. Big Ern is an epic character.
The comedic performances are incredible, but I think what makes this movie get better and better with the test of time is the outstanding script. The story follows Joseph Cambells heroes journey to the letter, even having the hero, Roy lose in the end. Death then resurection with the lessons learned.
"You ruined my life!" "Are you still holding on to all the anger?" You can say sorry as much as you want, but humans still can't grow back hands . . . at least not yet :3
Forget Regina George.. ERNIE is the meanest of the mean girls lol!! -has his friends stuck Munson's bowling hand in a shredder -humiliates him the entire movie -STILL ends up winning bruh I'd rather die x.x
As funny as this movie is, as well as how ridiculously hilarious Big Ern is, I still wished they would’ve shown Big Ern getting his comeuppance when Claudia later mentions to Roy how she tricked Stanley into attacking Big Ern as payback.
King pin Doesn’t get enough love… It was a masterpiece
100% "MUNSON!!!"
Only the bit where he lost his hand freaked me out
The way Bill runs away at the end cracks me up everytime.
A tribute to Curly Howard.
@@TheKitchenerLeslie oh yeah also the spinning on the floor gag. the farrelly bros did love the stooges
“Oh, I bet” ** ignores
Lmao
When I go bowling with the family, I put "Big Ern" as my name.
No way!! I do the same!!!!!
Murray owned this movie. One of his most inspired performances. Just ran away with it.
They were all great. Never understood throwing shade at some to prop up another
He said it's the 1 movie he regrets making
@@peoplevsradio317 i don’t see OP bringing anyone else down , he’s just saying Bill was amazing and stole the show.
No he didn't. Everyone made the movie great, not just him.
@@peoplevsradio317where’s the shade?

I love not only Bill Murray’s fake apology, but the fact that he specifies where he’s going as he runs away. Looks like he’s quite funny here!
“You just shut up, mister. I don’t know who the heck you think you are, but if you don’t wiggle those child-bearing hips out that door in 5 seconds…”
Just genius.
Love that line!!
"Come back to me. Let's try to make it work. Let's try; really try!"
"Oh GIRL you STILL got that sweet stuff" lmfao
Genuinely one of the best comedies ever made.
Baby, we had some good times in Chicago!
People say underrated is a loose term, this is underrated, BIG ERN
"A reaaaaal Munson!"
Underrated film so much, love woody Harrelson in it
McCracken interpreting Munson's line "not a day has gone when I haven't thought about you" as an endearing comment about missing him rather than a threat is so hilarious.
I don’t think he interpreted it as an endearing comment. He interpreted it how it was meant, he just didn’t think anything of it 😂
Finally! Amazed it took this long for Kingpin to appear on MovieClips!
One of my favorite movies ever
From everything I've heard about what it's like to work with Bill, I get the feeling that Big Ern is probably pretty close to his true personality.

You just shut up mister😂😂😂
God I love me some Bill Murray dude he is the absolute king of comedy. The goat himself
God, comedic genius. What a character Big Ern was... Literally made the movie
"You ruined my life!" "Are you still holding on to all the anger?"
You can say sorry as much as you want, but humans still can't grow back hands . . . at least not yet :3
“Ohhhh, creepy” lmao
Heh I bet, *ignores him lol
Murray’s best performance ever. The commercials he does are awesome
Ernie McCracken is waayyy up there in the top movie villains gallery along with Thanos, Hans Gruber, and Shooter McGavin
Don’t forget the best of all , Bill Lumbergh
Thanos?
Lol
Don't forget Clarence Boddicker.
Gaston
His hair always cracks me up lol 😂 😆
“Oh girl you still got your great stuff” 😆😆💀💀
Oh girl, you still got your great stuff..
Big Ern is like chewing gum stuck on Roy's shoe .... he just can't get rid of him 😂
Hey I remember that night too and I don't remember anybody twisting your arm
I cant believe i just said twist your arm to Munson.
“a reeeeeal Munson”

Nah Big Ern got what he deserved in the end and Munson got the same amount of money as he did in the end.
I did have the whole world right in front of me, but I didn't like the taste and threw it all away, and I am the real Munson!
Absolute classic
i miss these goofy “sports comedy” movies like this movie or dodgeball for example. it’s a shame they don’t make any anymore.
MASTERPIECE 😂
Another one of Bill Murray’s comedic films. One of the best.
Not just Bill Murray - though he was terrific here - but the entire cast.
Claudia i am in 1103. lol runs like pansy!
This movie is hilarious!😀

Murray is a comic genius
You see Claudia break character right after he says a Realll Munson lol. She couldn’t hold it in. Great movie
You know that Big Ern is unbearable when even mild-mannered Ishmael goes after him.
bill Murray is king.
Oooo creepy ...I'm sorry you know 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
People think hopkins showed how to steal a film in 20 mins in silence of the lambs. Then murray did king pin
I don't think this movie would be remembered if wasn't for Murray's great performance.
"Look, I said I WAS SORRY AND I MEANT IIIIT"(He says with so much insincerity he possibly could) lmfao
Funniest run in film?
1:47 A real Munson
I watch this as a kid and man I freaking hated Murray so much Lol
Why The Eff did he walk out that way...lol lmao rofl...claudia I'm in 1103
