Grew up in Lincoln/Woodstock. I miss the peace and quiet!
lincoln has such a small population but gets a lot of visitors. it was built for a lot of people but theres very small towns with populations of 3-2 thousands while lincoln has a small population of 700. (2020) so visitors are what make lincoln shine.
Lincoln is an awesome town. I love it.

Yeah, they all advertised the heck out my shore town. The property investors and fixer uppers and sellers priced us all out. Now I have to move somewhere else. Sorry it might be your town.
How hard or easy is it to buy a home there with hi speed internet? We're thinking of buying in the White Mtns area, but work remote full-time and want cable internet.
In southern NH you shouldn't have any issues, but further north into the white mountains it may be a bit slower.
It will be poor. In the mountains and will block signals as will weather conditions.
You'll want to get Starlink Satellite internet (with a full 90 degree arc without any obstructions above the dish). That's the only way to get reliable fast internet there.

What is property taxes in Lincoln?
Great question, the total rate is roughly 14.16 per $1,000 in property value. For a $278k home that would be slightly below $4k. (Rates may have increased as of 2021)

I love NH but I hate to say this, I want to love Lincoln but I hate it. Love the nature part but I just think the town is not attractive. And the sewage smell problem is gross.
It was not the residents who bought the homes. It was out-of- staters. Get you facts right and stop advertising Lincoln. You can only put so many people in one place. Stay home or go elsewhere.
