    I would love to make a ton of these, build a treasure chest and just dump it in the ocean somewhere off the coast for divers to find one day. Either that or just dump a chest with a note inside that say that the real treasure us friendship and love 😂

      Just dump a mysterious, heavy, oak chest. Put a single cookie in it and a note saying that the true treasure is sharing and friendship.

    if we ever went to the barter system, I'd wanna see all sorts of wacky ass coins that people can come up with since metal would be worth its weight.

    • @eduardopupucon
      @eduardopupucon 7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Gold and silver would crash in value since if you assume there was an apocalypse or something like that, because there would be such a small amount of people that if one guy raided a banks vault he would imediately crash the market making gold worth almost nothing.
      Maybe we could use rare earth metals that are already in such low quantity nowadays or probably unperishable goods that we would be unable to manufacture for a very long time.
      Theres a game called vintage story and they use gears as currency because people lost the ability to make precision mechanisms, but maybe we would use intel cpus or something like that as currency lol, they are already denominable (i3s, i5s, i7s...) so who knows

    • @YoloBagels
      @YoloBagels 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Some people engrave their own, others have dies made for them. Historically metalworkers would just take an iron/steel bar and use a graver to cut out the design, but now we're starting to see things like CNC mills and laser engraving.

    Nice! Pipe with ID +~1mm or less would make a good sleeve instead of holding alignment of the two dies with your hands. I've been thinking about doing something similar. Maybe start with melting my aluminum cans, copper and brass scrap into coin blanks or small bars. Fun way to stack and store base metals.
