New pro user... gotta get my bm data. I and a friend are confused on what data package to get. We're both pro spotgamma users. Can you clarify what packages we need. I had mbo before, etc. What data do we need for futures for hiro? What data do people need for etfs and stocks? Trying to get the right data and not overlap or double pay which we've both done before.
Is there another greek level interesting like zero vanna level or another else ? According to your experience another 2/3 order greek may be onteresting to ex plain stock price (zomma or veta) ? Thanks
@@spotgamma TD ameritrade added bookmap to thinkorswim, its in beta, im using it, but it has less features then the normal bookmap, you can't import files into it. So I can't use spotgamma on it.
getting this soon... going to make a custom playlist to keep viewing as I'm just brain dead. Positive gamma do this... Negative gamma do this. HaHa. I'm so into jigsaw right now, fudge going run separate pc for my BookMap with this.

Options are that proverbial tail that wags the dog. In other words, huge accumulated interest in options will drive the price of the underlying asset. In a nutshell: if gamma is positive and a dealer is long calls and thus short stock, then the dealer will sell stocks to keep the hedge. But when the gamma is negative, the dealer will buy stock on the way up, which will create a positive feedback loop, when the move up will sustain itself. The Nega gamma will create the same situation on the way down. This is how options dealers influence the behavior of the instrument, including futures.
