Once in a while I stumble onto something really good. This is one of those times, I've known about married puts and used them but you tend to forget until someone like John Carter whom reminds you that it is so so important to use them , he's trading millions of dollars and he can sleep at night cause he's married them with puts. You win more than you loose so you can hang on to your calls longer. The advice of sitting on your hands if there's no squeeze is putting money into your pocket. I can listen to this at least once a month and I'll take more from these wisdoms each time. John tends to drop good cookies as he's explaining each and every example ❤

Have used the squeeze before but after your n depth explanations it now makes complete sense. I've added it to my setup and it looks very promising. The banker fund flow oscillator combined with trend lines and supply and demand zones while watching on the 5min and the 30m at the same times looks very impressive. @@jkimc You guys are hilarious… I’m not a bot, I was just putting out there that after trading for 8 years my setup is a squeeze setup (I scalp /es futures) and it kills. I’m very thankful for learning about it and learning about it from John who probably knows how to use it better then most. Good luck to you all. :)

Thank you very much for your video teachings sharing your knowledge to common people like me. I have a question on the yellow and red downward bars and orange, red and black dots. I understand that black dot means option price is cheap, red is cheaper and orange dot is the cheapest option price. But if these dots are on red or yellow downward bars, does it mean that after the squeeze, it will fire to the downside? Or it depends on the stock trend? You mentioned it’s going to fire on the uptrend? So, is yellow or red bars considered a pullback? Thank you in advance. I sincerely appreciate your input. God Bless you.

Do you use Chart Patterns as a conformation while using the TTM reversal to the upside like a inverse head and Shoulders or a falling wedge , Triple bottoms, or exits ideas of a rising wedge wedge of lower highs. ?

29:50 This is me. I knew it but simply don't have the discipline and so my port is on seesaw. This is indicator is so great but the one in TV is a bit off. When we see the Red Dot it's the calm before the storm so be ready for the move.

Great information! I'm watching yr video again and have added volume profile; with no expansion on hourly basis, 1 min chart, opacity at 15 and POS and value lines de-plotted. This seems to add confirmation for continuation and entry and exit points. Comment?

This video ends very abruptly. Was this intentional? Anyways, love the family history of military service. My favorite coworkers where ex military. Discipline maters and is easy to spot if your looking.
Is the Squeeze indicatowith all the indicators explained in this video available for free or is that a supreme indiacator you need to purchase. I'm using trading view. I've found the squeeze pro but it has no arrows and early out indicators.

so is this indicator set on a 24/7 chart. like are you looking at data in the overnight...and having it all on the chart of a 5min or 30min with overnight in the mix on these charts or just RTH hours?
How do we get the indicators discussed on tradingview? They appear to be locked. Also, although there are 3rd party copies, is there one of yours for Metatrader 5 or Metatrader 4?

This looks like a great indicator to use. I'm really interested in trying it, because I sure need an edge that fits for me. Just checked on TOS. The TTM Squeeze is listed, but John Carter is not listed in studies. So, I'm not sure if this is a generic, or the Carter TTM Squeeze indicator. The TTM Squeeze Pro is not listed in TOS Studies. The video ended abruptly, so is there more that will indicate if there is a way to get the TTM Squeeze PRO? Do I have to pay for it and somehow import it?

I bought the "Squeeze" back in 2006 and used it wrongly (mainly afternoons) - tried it with e-minis on 1-minute charts -- not on a 30-minute charts lol...no wonder it didn't work!

I have a similar situation on making a lot of money and then losing it all; however, I have more losses than wins. I have been working on my strategy and using different indicators to ensure I win more than lose. The last two days I have made $180, which is good but there are other factors that I can't predict like world news, reports, or other factors.
So given your history what advice can you give on someone that trades with small money to make big money?

Definitely learned a lot from this video and John Carter in general. Just wish he didn't spend so much time boasting about multi-million dollar trades and showing screenshots of his P&L. That's far from the norm and not helpful for new traders, especially ones who think trading is a get-rich-quick endeavor. I'm pretty sure anyone trading with/making that kind of money isn't sitting here watching how-to videos on trading.

It's been renamed to "Simpler Trading's Studies". You'll find the TTM squeeze there.
The squeeze has a low probability of success. Check it for your self.
Now if you know the trend direction and use the squeeze then it could help you.

nah. statistically the market is in consolidation 80% of the time. the breakout of a consolidation up or down is 50/50 and any breakout attempt fails 80% of the time. good luck trying to enter "early" with the squeeze. its worse than a coin toss. my feel is that selling the indicators and access to the trading room is more profitable than using them, hence these videos.
