Today I’m doing what I do best by taking you away from the tourist areas of the Khaosan Road and Sukhumvit to the Thonburi side of Bangkok for a backstreet Isan street feast as well as checking out the cheapest decent Pad Kaprao that I know of!
Today I’ll be joined by my good friends @Emilysrichala. and Diggy from @danny_and_diggy to help me eat this mammoth Thai street food feast!
First we are heading to Somtam Je So (not the famous Mark Weins one) for some real deal Isan food, including what is probably my favourite kor moo yang (grilled pork neck) in Bangkok. Diggy will also be trying plara for the first time and I even make one of the som tum myself!

That egg on the crispy pork was nice, and looks like your som tham was pretty correct. Dunno why the ladies had problems with pla ra, but that's what I always use.
