    Christoffer, you might now see this but..
    This is a great piece, never mind what people say about the rhythm.
    I really like it, the speed is great and it sounds great! Keep up the great work!

    I found my pleasure in listening to this disrupted by the rhythm. I ordinarily wouldn't offer a critical comment, but I see that many others here shared my reaction. I hope you'll rework this absolutely lovely composition without the hand percussion--or consider performing it with a percussionist. It's a very beautiful melody!

      +Edwards Transformation He seems to struggle to play. He's too harsh on the chords. The general song seems a bit messy to me. Plus, it's not like the song was inventive or anything.

    Not to pile on what Staffan said earlier, but just really focus on the down beat man. Even for a live recording it was just off a bit too much for me. I'm a percussionist and the rhythm issues really threw me off. Great sound, beautiful video and I enjoyed the song, but it was constantly just a little off... I'm still down to listen to more from you though!

    Despite IMO some timing problems (maybe?) this composition brought a lump to my throat...very beautiful melody indeed. I'm not trying to be a critical ass here but I think if the timing was fixed in some parts that would bring this tune into stellar land. Again really really nice and thanks for posting this!

    Hey its good but there is a lot that could have been better on here. Timing was off quite a bit on some parts and for it being an original composition its nothing we havent seen or heard already.

    Wow I hold my guitar in a different way also.I like to put my guitar horizontal/Vertical but hold the guitar from underneath and slide my fingers and hands to different notes. I am still a beginner from a year ago but I have improved about as well as you are playing.Great playing.

    anche se amo poco la tecnica del tapping finalizzata a se stessa, devo dire che tu hai fatto un uso di questa tecnica da vero musicista, ovvero concentrandosi sul brano e sulla melodia, senza mai strafare

    Well, i love the song, but Christoffer, you need to hold the rythem.
    Otherwise it will sond bad, this could sound way better than it is currently doing!
    other than that, good job!!! keep doing what you are doing!

      +Christoffer Brandsborg haha no worries man, nobody is perfect, we are humans, mistakes are made, even the best ones make mistakes :)
      the metronome is your best freind, even if you hate it, hell, i hate it too! haha (guitarist 11 years)
      but again mate, good job!! hell of a song!

    Beatiful songFeels like there's not enough mediums in the first part, for me. Is that your guitar ? I'd add a bit of them next time. Just to try. The problem for me is that I only hear the bass and a bit of trebble, though your song is much richer. As it was already said, a bit of metronome will help to be really precise on the beat. Anyway, just a few technical problems, cauz your song just sounds amazingly great and musical. Awesome tapping technique BTW. You play 10x better than me, but you know, it's easier to critisize others than ourselves. I hope I was constructive !

    The song is nice but I don't really see the point of playing an *entire* song like this. Why not just play the piano or harp?

    • @Unidentifying
      @Unidentifying 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Peter Schmidt , Funny. I remember people saying this earlier towards lap tapping, but they were joking. Why wouldn't someone play a song like this? It doesn't sound like a harp or piano. Maybe this is fun, a challenge, the player just likes it? etc etc.

    • @1Joren
      @1Joren 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Peter Schmidt That's why guitars are awesome in my opinion. Versatility. It's just another style of playing the guitar that makes it sound completely different, creates a completely different feel to the instrument.

    • @Toastmaster_5000
      @Toastmaster_5000 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      I see no problem in playing a guitar like this for certain situations. There are plenty of songs out there where the musician plays like this because a "normal" way of playing guitar is too limiting. Sometimes there are too many different notes to play at the same time. Others play like this because they're effectively playing 2 different instruments at once (Luca Stricagnoli is a great example of this). I wouldn't say this song really fits either of those - Christoffer seems to played this way "because he can" but in my personal opinion, it made the song less enjoyable. Some notes just sounded a little "dull" to me and that easily could have been avoided. If he wanted to go for "different" or "unique", a different instrument would suit that better (on a channel like this).
      Anyway, just an opinion.

    • @Unidentifying
      @Unidentifying 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Peter Schmidt Actually I sort of agree with you, I disliked this at first because its something I have seen/heard before many times. Second, I would love more diversity of instruments on here, although its a guitar channel primarily.. its limiting
