    I wouldn't know that was your first on a couple of fronts. Looks great. Sorry about the heat affecting the color. There is a temperature that engineers use in aerospace and boat production. I think it's 180F for 8 hours, ideally under a vacuum. The temperature that you cure epoxy is the same temperature that the device will withstand before softening. I would be interested in learning if laboradorite is affected by heat. Didn't you have an epoxy coating over it, or did you polish it off?
    The professional method to mix epoxy is to the two pot method. You mix it up then pour it into another pot and finish mixing. Use a new stir stick too. Mixing on a flat surface, scrape up what you have mixed and move it to a fresh location. There is always raw resin not mixed.
