Thank you for returning to Soen! They have a fairly wide range. To me, they sound like a mix of Opeth and Tool, with a dash of Pink Floyd for good measure. All their videos are worth checking out... If you want to see them on their instruments, the videos for Opal and Lucidity were shot in a studio and also show more of their range.
There's no reason to be sorry for feeling Soen has a similar feel to Opeth. The drummer used to smash the skins in Opeth. Personally I feel much of Steven Wilson from Porcupine Tree in some of their songs. Like this one.
@@Temporal72 late to the party but, honestly, let them be offended if they are. To be offended at the fact that Soen definitly have Opeth, Pink Floyd, Tool and Wilson influences in their music just shows how ignorant they are. I'm a guitarist, and i can CLEARLY hear Gilmour's influence in the way the Solo are sometime shaped, but most importantly in the ambiance of some of their song, Lucidity in particular.
Hey even if you don't feel like doing a reaction for them, I highly recommend checking out the band Wheel. They've got a new album coming out at the end of this month and the 3 singles they've released for it are great. Every single piece of music they have made has been great imo.
Waaawww, directo a mi play list super rolón, gracias por descubrir nuevos horizontes musicales y mostrarlos, realmente me quedé con un buen sabor de boca 👍👍
Dont be sorry for you compare with Opeth, the dudes in soen has nothing against it for sure. If you going back the sounded more like Tool. But good music often remains of other good music :) keep up the good job
Great reaction and love to hear your Musical description!
If you enjoyed this one you would absolutely love “River” and “Lucidity” by Soen.
I will check them out!
@@Temporal72 you really should. Also savia from the first record, the words from the second album and of course the new album is fantastic

I want to hear more! To see where they can go with the range of sounds they can create, I will check more Soen songs out
That was a beautiful reaction. Thank you 😊
I'm glad you liked it! 😁
Magical band , magical song 💗

I said that because someone was a little bit offended by that on the last Soen video
Ohh yeah, I get that vibe as well

Hi, ...
There is a Polish band called Here on Earth, their album Thallum reminds me strongly of S0En.
Hey there, I'm from Poland and I had no idea this band existed. Thank you!
@@kubatrojanowski1187 Their music is soooooo znakomity.
@@patrickvangelder8088 yeah you could say it is quite wyśmienita.

Un abrazo desde Bogotá!
If you like Joel's voice, you should react to Soen's _The Words_ . He sings like a smooth caramel angel in that song! 😍
The Words is my favorite Soen song

What kind of music do they make? Some kind of proggy stuff?
@@Temporal72 Yeah, their first album has a big Tool influence, but their newer stuff is a bit different. Great band!
Oh, yes! Wheel is a must!!!
