I wonder how many people in your area put furniture on the curb and then cross their fingers, hoping Katie Scott finds it and restores it on her channel. I have a two pieces I would absolutely love for you to “find” and restore. If you’re ever in the Dallas, Texas area, let me know and I will set my pieces on the curb for you to find. Love everything you do. Keep up the great work.
Oh my gosh! What a brilliant thought. I'm certain you're right, & there are subscribers just waiting for Katie to choose their "needy" old piece of furniture. 😊
Katie, I love that you've started working so much with stained wood finishes. You're so creative and do amazing things to save these pieces from ruin. You should be very proud of how much inspiration you give others!
You're the best. I appreciate that you show and talk about mistakes, etc. For most of us, mistakes can be what ends our efforts, but to know that even a pro like you has 'em, keeps us going! Thank you!
I am never ever underwhelmed by what you do. I love watching how your vision and skill meet to create something amazing. This turned out perfectly as a new and beautiful piece way beyond what my imagination could produce. Love it!❤
Katie, you are absolutely the best, I know you are struggling with motivation and the “why’s” a little right now, but I hope you know you are truly an inspiration to others.
You are incredibly patient, creative, unique! Lucky, you found this beautiful table, which looks more beautiful after you taking care of it! Fabulous! 🎉🎉🎉
This turned out gorgeous! The wood grain is beautiful! Love the stain colors two toned and all the scratches and damage are completely gone! This table is so lovely now, hard to believe it looked so awful before you worked your magic on it! Awesome job! 😊❤
Furniture doesn’t deserve such abuse!! Imagine how grateful it must feel when you give it a “new life”!!!! I held my breath every time you loosened the painter’s tape!! Whew!
Oh my gosh! You took that neglected little table from trash to treasure! I love watching your videos because I really appreciate the fact that you walk the viewer through the entire process. I don't do this kind of work, but I am fascinated by the steps involved in transforming a piece of furniture from a curbside find to a functional piece of furniture. Thanks for bringing me along on your flipping journey! Looking forward to the next one!
I love how you not only show us the process, but that you're so real with your mistakes and such too. You're an inspiration and you do such a great job! Keep up the good work!
Sweet job! I love that you save things from filling up our dumps. We still use my hubby’s dresser bureau from college days. I’m 64! I’ve remade them over and over through the years. I totally have lost track of the number. 😜
So much nicer. Thank you for the tips on managing mitered veneer . I think we virtually lived the stress & relief along with you. I'll be using scrap thin cardboard as a blocker in projects. Thanks Katie!
Do you ever want to load up the finished pieces and show the people who tossed it how it looks now? So satisfying to watch you save furniture from the dump!
Hi Katie, this table cturned out really beautifully. I admire your attention to detail. Its worth it for the final finish. Love your videos. Take care Gale x
Katie you are the best! You are beautiful inside and out, a wonderful teacher, and humble about your incredibly amazing talents. Do not ever doubt what you have added to make a beautiful world. You help so many of us.
For some reason, I find it so satisfying to watch you scrap all the original finish goop off😄. Beautiful transformation- what patience you have to get all the different grains looking perfect!
You're back! I hope your holiday was a good one. I just realized how addicted I am to your channel and new videos every Saturday! Love the finished result of this once sad little table--the new stain color is gorgeous. You continue to amaze me with your transformations, and I love that with this one you decided to stain rather than paint. It's now a beauty.
WOW what a transformation. This coffee table could go in the natural look you gave it or a2 tone wood look or a painted around the top, even a little gold in some of the leg details for a glammed up look. Truly a trash to treasure upucylce !💖💖💖💖
So glad you are back, Katie! I do a bit of flipping myself and always like to restore to natural wood if possible! This is beautiful! Even better than brand new condition!
What a gorgeous makeover! This video inspires me to keep my eyes peeled for curbside finds and see what I can do with them. Thanks Katie for starting up your Saturday videos again after what I hope has been a lovely Christmas break for you.
Hi Katie, hope you and your family had a lovely time over the holidays, Happy New Year from Scotland. It’s great for newbies like myself to watch you refinish pieces like this, the table is beautiful thank you for sharing and all the best for 2025 😊
We are so grateful for the many refinishers and house restorers up above in Canada. We are lucky in our Neighbor, indeed. Stay warm . Pennsylvania (translating to Penn's Woods)
Whaaat? I just picked up a square Deilcraft coffee table in really good 8/10 condition, I have to strip just the mahogany veneer top, the rest is perfect. This gives me the confidence to tackle it in the garage. Well done Katie, the tape removal was golden! 🇨🇦

I just love watching you transform what some consider junk into true gems.
OMGOODNESS! The white wash stage reminded me of my 1st brand new coffee table I bought in 1988. I loved that table.
The end result is very pretty. 😊
Definitely a pro. As far as spilling it, we all have our clumsy moments😂. This has inspired me to do the repairs and refinish on our coffee table❤
Necessity is indeed the mother of invention! I love. How you pivoted to create a newer stain application technique. Turned out great!
Absolutely gorgeous! You always donsuch beautiful work! ❤

Katie, that stain over paint wash was brilliant. I’ve never seen that before and it turned out great.
Nice job, Katy. I love the way you work through the process and show us the 'warts and all'. 😆 Keep up the good work. 👍
You do such awesome work, Katie!!! I so wish you lived close to me; I would have you refinish all of my furniture. You are a true artist!!
Oh, how I wish I knew this technique you used on the top about 3yrs ago when I tried to refinish my dining table. Brilliant work!
People won't buy hand-made items, but will buy stuff out of big box stores made by machines in a heartbeat - well-made or not! It stuns me.
Brilliant table rescue ❤
So glad you are back!!
Gorgeous table! You are amazing 👏
You are true Artist !!!!!
So glad you are back, Katie! I do a bit of flipping myself and always like to restore to natural wood if possible! This is beautiful! Even better than brand new condition!
