This film is fantastic! It turns the cliche or expectation on its head, instead you get something more beautiful and tragic, and realise that this film isn't about being badasses, shooting at your enemies, it's about love, sacrifice and peace. I would give this film a good 8/10.

This movie is special cause most movies will always end in a happy ending. And I was thinking this will end well but as soon as I start Marianne panicking and panicking my hope started to grow, like comon get out of there. And still I had hope even when the engine didn't start properly (typical of those engines back in time) and when the car hit the propeller I was still hoping until she watched where the gun was put in. Then I started to realize two options, she would go in a fury but no, she chose the option which was so much more difficult, to say goodbye to Anna and to Max and to suicide. Incredible ending but so heartbreaking. only a few movies can cause this feeling. and the music is just brilliant!
He betrayed his country because of her. She ends her life because of him. What a blind and admirable love! This movie deceived me to believe in pure and real love again.
I can say this movie touches my heart deeply, I believed in my heart this actually happened. Stephen Knight wrote an amazing movie and I find myself wanting more and more of this movie. The love between a mother and wife who made the decision to kill herself knowing full well its either her or both of them. I could say i could keep this movie in my house forever, listen to the soundtrack forever because it touches and inspires me as a man to Love. Im inspired to write my own heart touching film just like this but a different story in world war 2, one day maybe. If you get a chance you should read how and why the story of this movie was made. Stephen Knight was told a story he felt was true although there are no records that prove it is real.He wanted to make a movie out of it and this movie Allied is it.
