Today, we'll be talking about solutions for a very common puppy challenge: How to prevent him 🐶 from eating everything while on a walk.
Puppies are like toddlers 👶, which means that they love nothing more than picking up random stuff on the ground and trying to eat it. And in the canine world, goose poop and chicken bones are haute cuisine!
Of course, that can be pretty dangerous, especially if it’s something he can get sick from!

My puppy is just about 7 months old and he literally eats everything on the ground. Inside, outside..all the leaves outside. He will not drop it, he runs!!
Inside anything on the floor,,..we dropped a baggy tie on the floor, its in his mouth. A peice of tape. From a box we opened. I mean anything that is dropped he runs for it and eats it.
My puppy found a sock and rusted nail in the dirt in the backyard had to have surgery 2 weeks ago I need all this help! But how do you train if you aren't looking real quick?
My 2.5 yr old dog looks for everything the ground outside when walking her and picks up almost everything which drives me insane, she sniffs everything off the ground. I will try the treat method, but like mentioned in the video I can't be giving her a treat every single time she picks up something.

What about when a puppy is sniffing around to evacuate and while he's doing it he's eat everything in the grass before he does? His focus should be on relieving himself, not me.
