I am from Rishikesh. My heart is filled with joy to witness devotees once again in this city! It's very unfortunate how our own Indians specially from Delhi Haryana has turned this place into some picnic spot. Drinking, driving, and other unethical activites that suit Goa are being done in Rishikesh.Killing the religious essence and even further damaging our pious Ganga Mata. Thanks to such devotees who restore Dharma 💜

Goa comes from the word Gomantak , it's associated with Gaumata , it's also a holy place , even Delhi known as Indraprastha is a holy place and it's one of the Shaktipeeth, haryana is also holy Gurugram is abode of Dronacharya, kurukshetra is the place where Krishna gave Gita to all of us .
Every inch of Bharat is spiritual and is reverberated with Holy Names of God .
Thus if anything needs to be changed is not the type of people visiting there but actually the change has to be from the within , learn from such devotees and learn to value the place we are living in .
Some real good karma we would have done to be born as Bhartiyas but we don't value this and gave completely forgotten the worth of this pure land Bharatvarsha

What Vikram and you have showed is on my heart's list to visit as I didn't see Brahmapuri not the Koti where Srila Prabhupada stated. Jai Chaitanya Maha Prabhu ki Jai! He's my favorite.

Mother Ganga did not make any noise but the rafters sure were noisy, disturbing the spirituality and peace of that sthan. Great spiritual journey by your blessed family, guided by one of the best 👌.
Am sure even the rafters making noise in happiness wud have lifted Mataji, (seeing them happy) probably that's why they never mentioned about that noise, we cud however hear that in tha background.
@@winteriscoming7493 they were courteous and aware of what not to say. The signifance of that place is lost on the rafters - it is one place that Ganga is silent. The rafters could also just meditate and enjoy the silence in that section. Just that they are not aware and/or mindful of their surroundings. Note, if I were a rafter I would have been shouting with joy but if I am made aware, then I would have respectfully enjoyed the "silent ganga". 🙏

Indeed magical ! You struck a cord with a lot of people when you couldn't control your tears in front of Godess Ganga....I'm sure that moment overwhelmed you when someone like a god-send showed you around the holy city and also took you back in time to the times of Gods.

I just happened to see the Mataji riding on her 2 wheeler, but I did not have opportunity to meet her or her family. Definitely I have the wish to meet this beautiful family in future.

Thank you for sharing Rishikesh with us in this way. I long to visit there, lots of places in Uttarakhand in fact. At this time it doesn't look like I will ever get to visit India in this lifetime. Seeing others explore the holy places is at least a small consolation to my burning heart that seems to remember old yogi lifetimes among the foothills of the Himalayas.
