Hmm nay, I think there is other intelligence life out there. Happy Birthday! I’m sorry it was a little rough though 😢. Thanks for being real, it helps so many other people who need to know they aren’t the only ones who deal with disappointment in relationships sometimes too. Our lives off camera have the ups and downs more than we show, so it’s validating to hear you admit your troubles that others might be going through. Also, you aren’t being high maintenance or asking too much of your husband to hope or expect him to try to make your birthday special. It’s disappointing because you know you would, and do, do it for him so it hurts that he wouldn’t for you. Knowing from some experience here, but things have gotten much better with open communication and lots of looong pillow talks haha. Which I know is so much easier said than done.

Thank you for your encouraging words! I also feel grateful when people share the harder things they're going through, because it shows that no one's life is without struggle no matter who you are. Even if it's just something small like feeling ignored on your birthday, sometimes those are the things people might feel most tempted to not talk about, I think.
Yes, I chart the special drills on every kit! :) So glad you are enjoying them on Satura - I am too! I'm over halfway done now but definitely not hurrying, haha.

Happy birthday! Sounds like you had a great birthday filled with family time. Those are the best. As for the hubby being sad definitely talk it out. There’s probably something subconscious there. If you don’t sort it out it could just fester. As for the existence of other intelligent life….i tend to lean towards the nay. I honestly feel like none of this is real.

Happy belated birthday! I'd be pretty upset too if my significant other didn't want to do anything for multiple birthdays in a row. Like you said, it's understandable to not want to do anything and be down but at the same time it's your day and you would think they would want to celebrate with you. Hopefully yall can have a good talk and he can join in on the family fun next time. Sounds like a great birthday weekend other than that!
That seems like a crazy addendum for the apartments! I've never heard of one doing that and I'd be upset to pay extra to not use their furniture. Just crazy!

I LOVE the washi tape! It's soooo pretty 😍 what a bummer about your person on your bday.... have you ever tried talking to him on a random day about any idea why he seems to pull away on that day, especially if it's a pattern. I don't know, maybe it's a hard day for him for any kind of reason.

i laughed inside a tad about the potato salad because it sounds like you really would prefer "slightly flavored mashed potatoes" haha but i thought it was sweet what your dad did. i don't particularly like bananas, and my dad used to make me banana-less banana pudding and now my friends and I still have it that way when we all get together! as for whether or not we're alone, i honestly wouldn't be surprised either way. i think that the universe is bigger than we'll ever know, so it's unlikely that there is no other intelligent life out there. but maybe we are....we may never know!
Haha no no no, mashed potatoes would be too soft and mushy for potato salad! XD To me, they are very distinct textures from each other. Textures in food are almost more important to me than taste. MMM I'd take banana pudding any which way. It's so good!
Im sorry your fav person didnt try harder to make you feel special on your bday. I dont know the dynamics of your relationship but everyone deserves a partner who at least tries to celebrate with them. I have really bad anxiety but for hubbies bday Ill find other ways to show him love besides going out, if im not in a good headspace for it. Like a massage, elaborate supper, even just quality time in bed watching a movie. Either way i hope your person was able to make it up to you on a different day if he really wasnt feeling well that day
