Hello all! I hope you're enjoying the additional content this month. You can also listen to our first CONAN offering over at FantasyBabble, plus some other bits and pieces: th-cam.com/video/4lRFt6_TljU/w-d-xo.html
Listening after midnight on the farm, drifting off and suddenly what sounds like infinite coyotes began howling and yipping in the backyard 😮. Apparently they approve of the story topic😄
1:00:10 Wow! I lived right near this guy’s dad’s fictional apartment. Though Caton and Church Ave do not intersect. I lived between Caton and Church in Brooklyn for about 15 years, right around the corner from the Church Ave subway station mentioned 😮 It’s right near the southeast corner of Prospect Park.
These were some fantastic werewolf stories. I liked the diversity of each one. Excellent narration. Thank you. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays 🎄❤️🤗🌟🫶
Deidre drove through the London dawn still fuming about the grisly crime scene. Would there be an Easter now that the Cleaners were immolating the Easter Bunny’s headless corpse with thermite at an undisclosed location? She alternated her left hand between smoking and drinking coffee as she pulled on to the M25. Thank god it was early enough to miss the worst traffic. Fifteen minutes later a muffled thumping came from the car’s boot. She ignored it. It persisted to be joined by a man’s voice, “Deirdre! Deirdre! Can I get out now!? Please. Let me out!” Deirdre turned on the radio. Freddy Mercury came on singing Bohemian Rhapsody. “Good enough” she mused, cranking the volume. The pounding from the boot intensified but _“he’s just a poor boy no body loves him.”_ drowned it out along with the shouting. Focusing on the road, Deirdre murmured absently “You’re supposed to be DEAD, Warren. You fool. We put a lot of money and effort into making you that way. And you cocked it up.”
It's absolutely insane to look at the quality of writing back then compared to now. The descriptions were so much more vivid and interesting and the vocabulary so much deeper and just prettier to the ear
Superb collection! Although-no disrespect intended-I wish you’d included “Wolfshead” by Robert E. Howard. I say this only because it’s a personal favorite of mine.
Nice compilation. Just one thing though : would you mind adding the date (and possibly place) of first publication next to the author in the description of the pieces you read ? It would provide much helpful context, I feel.
Snow falling softly, Full moon was bright, Then out of nowhere, A scream rent the night, I crept to the window, From out of my bed, Oh no, it's Warren, It looks like he's dead.

Twas the night before Christmas
And Warren was dead.
"The children were nestled all snug in their beds/And Ian just told us that Warren is dead."
Snow falling softly,
Full moon was bright,
Then out of nowhere,
A scream rent the night,
I crept to the window,
From out of my bed,
Oh no, it's Warren,
It looks like he's dead.
Great work, again! 🐺🌕🥳
