Therefore, we cannot generalize contestants last year being smarter than this year. If you have said Cat’s performance was better than everyone else on the current batch, then I could agree 100%.

Bb. 20’s answer is probably the only answer I liked. It sounded genuine and not forced. Women do have to be strong especially after a war. Wars are emotionally exhausting. There are actually people who commit suicide even when the was over because they cant handle the damage caused by it mentally and physically. Mothers are compassionate and nurturing and so they have to be strong in order to help their loved ones heal from the scars caused by the war.

She could've give better solution which not anyone can come up with. She's in the industry she should've known it better. Sorry I'm not satisfied with her answer and that's the reason she's only Miss Global.
JJ CC SS girl, filtering news isn't a solution. It rather just remove unnecessary word which do not solve the problem. She should've just encourage scrutiny and simplification to avoid misconception from the readers. It solves the current media phenomenon to break the mistrust from the common readers. I hope that Cat's earring will remain on her long gown in Miss Universe competition. It was such an artwork which truly embodies our nation. And it would be her signature for sure. 😊
Edit: The moment she won in BBP, I told my mom to look at her while being crown because she needs to remember my words to her, that this girl right here will be our fourth Miss Universe from the Philippines. And came December 17, 2018, my mom reminded me of those words I said to her months ago little did we know that it will actually happen. And I was so happy that she wore the earcuff in the coronation night because I was so sad that she did not wear it in preliminary competition, though different design but same symbolism. And I knew that one day you'll see it being sold in Divisoria or different online shopping sites. Hahahaha. And now I'm selling it. FOR REAL. Hahaha. I was just so happy that I've been her fan since her MWP days and followed her footsteps, been her IG follower since then. The moment the violin plays Miss Independent in their final look I knew it will be her. Sorry for being sentencious. Hehehe I am just so happy for ate Cat. 🐱 meow

Cat is indeed outspoken and smart but what makes her answers truly captivating is that she speaks from the heart, genuine yung sagot at pag narinig mo siyang sumagot hindi yung cliche construction ng sagot sa mga pageants (though sa first part oo) . They trained how to speak like a pageant contestant but Cat answered like a spokesperson, yung tipong conversational type kaya naman relatable.
Michille deserves other crowns, like Miss Supranational or International 👼🏻 A very nice answer.

MG’s no show at the first presscon is so out of character, It would have been great to see all of the top five to be together and show unity. It’s just so selfish of her-and her reason of not being there is so lame. People will be going to ask about the pageant anyway so might as well be there and show your support. It’s so ironic that she came from a sports background and yet did not show any sportsmanship, and oh don’t get me started on her “bring it on” remarks, it’s so unnecessary, and very unfitting for a pageant such as MUP.

One of the best batches BB Pilipinas ever had, if not the best when it comes to total package. Magaganda naman this year's batch but I was just disappointed by their Q&A performance. Makakapasok kaya sa Top 5, highly likely. Mananalo kaya as MU, the current performance says no. Yes, there's training but it can only do so much in a short span of time and we can only wish she can get over the hurdles and raise our flag at the top once again.
