- The Book of Enoch. Part 1. Narrated in English by Robert Ferell of www.scriptural-... Book of Enoch was part of the Bible (and still is in he Ethiopian Church). It is Old Testament (Apocrypha) prophesy similar to the Apocalypse. There are references to the Book of Enoch in the New Testament. John... There are things in the Book Of Enoch most people wouldn’t believe. There minds are closed up,even though they were touched on in the Bible, Enoch made them clear. Mainly that the earth has a dome over it, that it’s immovable. There is a complete description of how God created the earth, with pictures and explanation. Enoch describes the giants and tells how tall they were. It is a complete compliment to the Bible.

@Mark Mildenberger I am confused do you believe in the pre tribulation rapture of post tribulation rapture. Either way both have flaws that don't make sense to me. It makes more sense to me that the pre tribulation rapture would occur but what do I know.
@Mark Mildenberger I already kind of am but I still try to keep an open mind when it comes to these sort of end time prophecies. I am glad I won't have to be here on Earth when the tribulation occurs. I am trying to warn my family so when it happens they won't be left behind and have to take the mark.

If the rapture doesn't happen (I think it will though) we are not going to be taken to any camps to be tortured or forced the mark. I think Book of Enoch was the first religious scripture and language of angels ever manifested on Earth. The name Henoch is a common name for males in Eritrea/Ethiopia region. I don't "believe" in evolution theory but alas they claim life of humanity began in Africa, in that area of Axum.
I’m an Ethiopian and No never Axum never started Life but only in Turkey many evidences show that the garden of Eden is there and that Noah’s ark is there. Life started in Turkey.

In Matthew 22 Jesus references a teaching of scriptures concerning marriage in heaven. This teaching is nowhere to be found in the entire Old Testament and according to Jesus these scriptures the Sadducees were unaware of also because they only accepted the Law as canon.The only place I have found this teaching in is the Book of Enoch 15:1-7.
Infact the Book of Enoch cover to cover teaches against the marriage of eternal beings explicitly. Enoch even explains to Azazel the Fallen Watcher ( see Leviticus 16 on Azazel ) why God allowed mankind to marry because they were mortal and not eternal heavenly beings.
No book in existence today fits the description of scriptures which Jesus was referencing outside of Enoch

Why do you think many pastors preachers, prophets whatsoever .banned the book of Enoch?? Or wont preach about it. I had to find about it in my own reading the bible. What's so secret is bidden there? I was so shocked when found about the bad angel was doing the deed with humans and made giant out of it. Wish people read the words more often.
That's 1 reason it's kept secret. Enoch's book can also lead you to read about the terrible sins done back then. It's best for most people to not know. All these things are of the devils, and the sins were so terrible God destroyed almost all living creatures. If people would take a lesson from this and say, Let us not do this, the priests wouldn't have hidden it. But man is curious and many will say Let's try it. God doesn't want this. Remember we are as children to God. We hide lots of things from little children because it will lead them in the wrong direction. This is what God did hiding the book of Enoch. Now that we know, have we become righteous so as not to go against God? Not the average person. This is why it was hidden.

The book of Enoch is not cannon because of some slight errors, and early churches didn’t believe it was God inspired. Some rejected it more than others, you’re not in the “secret” group who has insider knowledge. It was never quoted in NT. Get your heads out of your asses. And no john283t. Can someone tell me how to know for sure if this was supposed to be in the bible? I feel it is missing. My husband felt it too when I began to read it out loud to him. I just want something outside of our feelings. I know it's the Holy Spirit but I love God and want to make sure for sure it's from Him because if it's not from Him I dont want it.
It is not part of the biblical canon used by Jews, apart from Beta Israel (Ethiopian Jews). Most Christian denominations and traditions may accept the Books of Enoch as having some historical or theological interest and while the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church and Eritrean Orthodox Tewahedo Church consider the Books of Enoch as canonical, other Christian groups regard them as non-canonical or non-inspired.
The book of Jude refers to a verse from the book of Enoch.
I've always wondered who gets to decide what is inspired and what isn't.
Fun Fact: when Martin Luther was putting his Bible together he chose to leave out Jude, Hebrews, and James because he didn't think it was inspired writings..
