Thank you Zelda for today's Bible verse and the shout out to Homespun Wife. I will check her out. I'm always on the lookout for fellow sisters in Christ.
It is really a joy watching your videos. I look forward for to watch them. You motivate me to sew and most importantly you feed me spiritually! I thank the Lord for you and your channel. Please continue to be bold in speaking about your spiritual life along with your sewing plans, after all we need the Lord’s wisdom to help us to do everything , and in my case especially sewing😢🙃 May the Lord bless you and your family 🌸🌸🙏🏻
Oh, Sharon, you're making me blush! Thank you so much! I enjoy sharing scripture, and I enjoy sharing my sewing journey with you all. Have a blessed weekend, and happy sewing.
The word of God is living and effective! I can't remember chapter and verse, either, but I remember the words, like you! God bless you, Zelda, for your faithful witness and the loving way you share your life on TH-cam as well as with your family and others.
Hi Zelda! You look so beautiful in pink! I love the fabric. I have seldom worn sleeveless garments either. I love the Scripture writing. I did that a lot when I was young and could see good. It helped me to remember it easier. I am reading the Bible through again this year… I have only done that one time… and I mostly read fast so I could get through it… but, I am trying to take my time and really soak it in. Your granddaughter is just beautiful. I think we would get along so well. Many things you mention… I think, “Me too!” 😊 Today’s scripture in Ephesians is one of my favorite! Thank you for sharing. See you tomorrow! ❤ Diann
Diann, I say the same things when I am watching your videos, Me too. Me too! I am nervous about tomorrow's video, but I felt really good about making the dress. Thanks so much for stopping and by, and I look forward to seeing you tomorrow!🥰
I just wanted to come back and say I remember now seeing Sherry's channel (The Homespun Wife) yesterday as a recommendation on scripture writing. I had made a note in my mind to watch her video. Definitely not a coincidence!😍
Hi Zelda! Thanks so much for the shoutout on your lovely channel! I'm so happy God led you my way and that you started Scripture Writing! Praise the Lord! I have to tell you a funny story about Ephesians 4: 32. It was one of the first Scriptures I taught each of our children. When the twins (they were our youngest children) were about 2 years old, I would teach them small segments of full verses. This was so memorization wasn't overwhelming to them. "Be ye kind, one to another. Ephesians 4: 32," I said. Then I would repeat it several times during the day and have the girls say it with me. They were quite young and still working on sharing and forgiving. One day they got into a terrible argument over a toy. When I ran into their room they were pulling hair and clawing at each other. I separated them and admonished them. When they settled down, I said, "Girls. Fighting does not please God. Now what is our Scripture verse this week?" They stared at each other intently until one of them finally spoke up: "Be ye kind...and don't scratch!" 😅 Now that's what's called toddler translation! LOL. Thanks again, Zelda!! ~Sherry
I know that part of the fighting was not supposed to be funny, but I truly understand. I have 3 boys, and they did a lot of fighting over toys! I loved the toddler translation! We learn so much from our children as we train and teach them as well. Have a blessed week.
from Gerry- I just found her 3 days ago and I will be starting my writing soon. I love the word and read it through each year. I'll be following your journey . Blessings
Zelda, I came back watched it all. Enjoyed it as well. Hope your voice returns so you can record the video for tomorrow. I love the scrap book for the Holy Spirit. I'm right there with you. I can't tell you what's 2Tim 2:10 is but if i hear it I can finish it. ❤❤❤❤ Happy sewing, Sis.BTW. There's a peaceful calmness over here, I appreciate so much.
Hi, Zelda, I read my Bible but I struggle for more meaning and relationship. I'm going to try to spend more time - like you are - writing them out, maybe get a scripture coloring book too - to help me meditate on the Word more.
You can do it! I want me extra coloring pencils from walmart and a sharpener along with doublesided tape for when I use clip art from Google on whatever I'm reading about. My art work looks like a 5 year old did it, but it helps me to remember the purpose of that scripture and whatever I was talking about with God at that time. Keep it simple and focus on your time with the God of the universe... The God of everything.

It's always something
new to learn in God's word. Sometimes I say Amen and sometimes I say Ouch. Thank you so much for stopping by.
