Hallo... 😊 Hope it is well with you. Todays video is something I truly never thought of doing, writing the scripture out like that. I must tell you that this is truly something beautiful. A different kind of mediating on Gods word. Thank you for sharing your scripture writings. It inspired me to also try it. Hope you have a blessed day further ❤
Hello sister, thank you so much for your kind words, all glory to God! I'm so pleased this gave you another idea to get into His Word; I personally find it really relaxing and inspiring so it's worth trying! God bless you 🤍
I usually journal bible notes but you have opened my eyes to another way to meditate and absorb Gods word! The simplicity of your process and tools is refreshing! Thank you for sharing !
Oh that's wonderful, all glory to God! Yes, I find simple processes remove barriers to success so I try to keep what I do as simple and effective as I can! I pray you enjoy scribing the Word if you try it out too 🥰
Oh, it makes me so happy to see anyone writing anything by hand anymore! (But especially God's Word.) I used to have very neat penmanship. I even did calligraphy. Baptism certificates for church, I did the envelopes for a friend's wedding invitations, etc. But that was decades ago. My muscle memory from that is gone. And because I rarely have a need to write anything anymore, my penmanship, even my signature, have become ugly. I type so much for work that my hands ache too much to write by hand anymore anyway. It does makes me sad. Thank you for reminding me this skill is not dead!
Yes amen sister, me too! I found that I barely write much by hand anymore which is so sad; writing the Word is such a valuable way to keep the muscle memory going! Have you ever thought of taking calligraphy back up or just retraining your hands back into writing? My hands used to be uncomfortable at first too, but over time it's like anything else and your body adjusts! ✍🤍

I really love your simplicity and aesthetic. So beautiful! (You can never go wrong with pink, gray and teal!) I saw a video title earlier tonight that said something like "10+ Essentials for Scripture Writing". Really? I didn't watch it, I don't want that many. (Or maybe it was Bible study?) I use the New American Standard Version with multiple different fountain pens and inks. I had been using an A6 Hobonichi to write a verse per day, but recently changed to the Hobonichi Cousin. Still a verse per day, but I'm adding a little artwork, doodling, stickers, etc, to meditate on the verse just a little longer. I'm using the additional space for some Bible study, prayers, gratitude or whatever is on my mind for the day. Thank you for your inspiration. 💖
Thank you so much for your kind comment, Kathy! Yes I'm a fan of simple strategies because they offer the least resistance to just get into the Word, but whatever works for an individual is what I will always champion for! I love your way of meditating on a verse for the day, thanks for sharing!!
I love my NKJV. I started in the beginning of April writing. I just could stay focused on my reading, and i couldn't remember what I read. Im so happy i started writing my Bible like this. Hugs
Ahhh yes sis this is so amazing! You put into words what I feel too: I can spend hours scribing and not even notice the time, whereas reading is more tiring and harder to concentrate. So happy this is working well for you too! 🥰
This is so beautiful...your handwriting is so neat thanks for sharing...less is more for sure. Do you follow a plan or just let the Holy Spirit lead you, or one book at a time?
I post scripture writing plans every month based on topics and themes. It's very relaxing I use a leather soft note book 8x11 full size note book/ journal I also notice it help me to memorize the word as well and chew on the word.
You do?! How do I miss those! What are they called sis? I tried doing a daily plan for a few months at the start of the year but I would skip days and have to go back, which wasn't working for me - I'm more of a "as and when I feel called" to kinda gal when it comes to scripture writing I think! I definitely agree with you that it helps with memorisation and "chewing" lol love that!
I have just started copying out my Bible as well. I use just plain copy paper, pen which will soon be changed to quill when I get my black ink, and highlighters which I use to colour code verses, lined template and a fine coloured marker for the chapters and titles. Once I have finished copying out my Bible. I plan on binding it.
Oh that's so wonderful! I love the idea of writing with a quill and binding it together once it is complete too 😍such a beautiful project to be working on! 🤍
I search motivating and guiding bible verses on different topics and write most of them to walk on the path of righteousness and to bring glory to my Lord God who is in heaven.🙏🏻❤️✝️🛐🙇🙌🏻👑😇
Lovely video. I can see how this is so enjoyable for you as it's even enjoyable and relaxing to watch. I haven't taken up this practice yet. Still working through my Story of Redemption study from the Daily Grace Co which takes up a good amount of time. Maybe someday...
Ah thank you so much sis, I'm glad it was relaxing to watch too! Hope your study is going well; it's good you are sticking to it, I find myself flitting to different way of being in the Word all the time! 🙈
Oh now I get it! I've just come across your channel and have been searching everywhere for a white Pitt Minion as I love yours and I was so confused as to why I couldn't find one anywhere 😂😂 it looks beautiful. Great job
I set a goal at the beginning of 2023 to read my bible from start to finish in 1 year. And all I have left to read is Revelations. But I wanted to challenge myself again next year and came up with writing the whole bible from the beginning and all the way through. I've been doing a bit of research as preparation for this daunting challenge. And your video has helped a lot. I found this same journal to use on Amazon but never considered fancy pens and inks. Also seeing your handwritten bible books has helped me visualize the task ahead of me. I wasn't thinking about what it would look like finished. If you could please let me know what brand pens you used that would be very helpful. Thanks for your inspiration.
Oh how lovely, thank you for sharing your journey with me, that sounds like a wonderful challenge for the year! Certainly, all the products I share in my videos I post here: www.mywhitebible.net/links Keep me updated and let me know if you have any other questions! 🤍
I never even knew this was a thing people did, until I saw it on TH-cam a few years ago. Maybe starting with the New Testament would be less daunting? Whatever you decide, I hope it goes well! Just think, you'll be following in the tradition of countless people through the ages who did it - and still do it - under much more difficult conditions than we have today!
@@Yesica1993 thanks so much for your encouraging words!! I’m starting in the beginning and going all the way through because I heard that the Bible builds on itself when you read it that way. WOW! Just, wow. To inscribe with fountain pens is so impressive. Myself, I've gotten away from them because, as you know, you have to use them on a regular basis, or you run into hard-starting problems. It is a nice journal, with good paper and very little show-through, but is it archival that will hold-up with age. Plus, how about the binding- is it strong? I like your mindset in doing it, to meditate and focus on Scripture. Love that you're KJV. I remember seeing very large oversized leather journals, like you'd see in a monastery, that would be great for this, but they are really, really expensive. But they would last a lifetime, and be an incredible heirloom. One more thing, please tell me your nails are real. God Bless You.
