Really awesome that you consistently add disclosures before every video. There are some less than honest MTB channels that choose not to so or hide it until the end it's appreciated.
Nice Neal! I feel like 2003 was a total Haro hey-dey... that's about when the had Greg Minnaar and Kirt Voreis on the team! I remember Cam Zink racing for Haro back in '06!
As someone who wants to get back into a mtb the lower price point with this level of tech on an aggressive frame I’m intrigued to the fullest. Bang for buck is what I am seeing. And talk about intros and going back in time. Thanks for the quick memory lane Jeff🤘🏼.
My first FS MTB was an Amp Research raw brushed aluminum welded up by Frank the Welder. I loved cleaning and polishing it with Never Dull wading. Loved that bike! Wish I still had the frame.
I am stoked that Haro is back in the game. I recently got a size small Saguaro which has 418mm chainstays with a 27.5 rear wheel and I absolutely love it!
Even though I grew up on redline bmx bikes because of the LBS. I was always a haro fanboy. It’s so cool to see them rejuvenate the brand! Thanks Jeff as usual for the kick ass content 🤙🏻
They really need to offer a raw version! Stoked to see Haro back in the game, definitely have a soft spot for them, my first "mtb" as a kid was a 24" Vector in like 1995 haha
Been waiting for this release. Have loved my Saguaro but I think it's about time for an upgrade and that stone Daley is looking mighty fine! Thanks for the first look!
Had a haro master with 48 spoke peregrines and redline cranks in the early 90's, crazy to think at 44 years old I've never taken a year off and I'm still stoked to be on my bike everyday, well on my mtb definitely not a bmx haha
Nice to see Haro back with some great bikes, looking at the website though your pre-production model isn't even close to the same spec as the production one, no polish(bummer), marzochi instead of Fox(I know same fork).
Thanks I’ve been using it since May 2022. 😂 I did discover that filming and 60 frames at a lower bit rate ends up with surprisingly decent footage, and that TH-cam gives a higher quality of compression to 4K 60 videos. So even though it’s lower quality than my old 24 frame stuff it often looks the same or better once it’s uploaded to TH-cam..
Aside from the BMX thing way back in the day, I'm pretty sure the first MTB that I ever rode was a Haro. It was a hard tail with an elevated chainstay, and a U-brake in the back if I'm remembering this all correctly.
I dont see me going away from my YT Jeffsey anytime soon but if Haro had a raw brushed frame Daley out last year I would be riding it now. They have decent colors now but its a mistake to not offer raw.
It's a sweet, simple rig! Yeah, this bike wasn't actually announced last week with the rest. This is the "Raw" version, they'll announce it as an upgraded model in the future. It's a little higher price point than the bikes that were announced last week, but more in line with the stuff I normally ride and cover on the channel.
@@JeffKendallWeed That is perfect, thanks for the clarification. This checks a lot of boxes for me. Simple, durable, serviceable is the way I like to go. And I love the raw look.
Hey Jeff. Have you tried Fasst Co flex handlebars? They make MX handlebars, and now they make MTB flex bars. It'd be cool if you got your hands on one since you do both MX and MTB 🤙
I love you Jeff, but swapping brilliant TRPs Trail Evos to "on/off" Shimanos is heresy to me. You got used to the latter, I get it. Hope someday you'll give different brakes a chance: TRP DHR Evo, Hope, Hayes, Magura, Trickstuff. So many options! 😍
While yes, it is a beautiful finish, I did it to my old Siskiu it took days of rubbing with red & grey scotchbrite. But If you think it’s the nicest finish on a new bike, check out Specialized tinted epoxy finishes on some of its newer carbon bikes. My new Enduro is has a brown tint, it looks satin brown at distance but in the light closer up you can see through the epoxy and see the layup. It’s sick!
long CS is back, not sure I'm a fan of the idea on "trail" bikes. I think it makes more sense to keep dem long CSs on the DH side of enduro bikes, then moderate on trail/enduro and short for the sub 140 categories
Thanks Chrsei! This Raw one is a proto, but a production one is coming soon. They'll announce it as an upgraded model in the future. It's a little higher price point than the bikes that were announced last week, but more in line with the stuff I normally ride and cover on the channel.
Probably... Haro is well equipped to play with the "big boys" of the budget category. This is the "Raw" version, they'll announce it as an upgraded model in the future. It's a little higher price point than the bikes that were announced last week, but more in line with the stuff I normally ride and cover on the channel.
You’re 5-8 and like a 460 reach? That seems big to me; especially with someone with a BMX background. Myself included; I prefer a smaller bike. I am 5-11 and 460 is my preferred reach.
It looks SO GOOD in person! This is the "Raw" version, they'll announce it as an upgraded model in the future. It's a little higher price point than the bikes that were announced last week, but more in line with the stuff I normally ride and cover on the channel.
Can’t find this bike anywhere. Like vaporware. I can find Haro Daly models but all of them with a lower suspension/component set, and none with the raw brushed aluminum. Strange that whomever owns Haro now (whoever that is - couldn’t figure that out either) would put a bike out into press pools like this that seemingly doesn’t exist.
Haron should partner with DJI on Ebike space, imagine lightweight freeflow or trail emtb. I have carbon and alloy i still find alloy tougher with flex and quiet compare to carbon you hear the sound of hollow tubes and too stiff. In my opinion carbon is perfect on gravel and road bike
Sad story: Greer Ranch is being taken over by a new housing development as we speak. Some trails will remain, but just a fraction of its original glory.
@@JeffKendallWeed okey! I have 18 points of engagement but i wasn't sure if I could upgrade, I fought that the free hub on my dt swiss 370 had to be changed too in order to accept more contact points. Seems like I have to do some research
It's a totally different bike, with Horst link suspension... But if you ignore the seat mast, the rear end, all the detailing, and are looking through the fog with dark sunglasses covered in mud, they would probably both look like bicycles... hahaha!
Raw pre-production color is way cooler than production stone and black finish. Haro, bring RAW back 😎
Really awesome that you consistently add disclosures before every video. There are some less than honest MTB channels that choose not to so or hide it until the end it's appreciated.
Excited to see them back in the game. Haro was my first real MTB in 2003ish.
Nice Neal! I feel like 2003 was a total Haro hey-dey... that's about when the had Greg Minnaar and Kirt Voreis on the team! I remember Cam Zink racing for Haro back in '06!
Same But BMX dave mirra edition

Señor Guzmán and the tunnels was awesome!🤣🤣
That is the most beautiful bike i have ever seen 😭 Its like it was designed to make the beholder sick with envy
Time for some whiplashes and double decades. Beauty! Well done Haro!!!
Been riding Haro’s since 86 and currently have 4 Haro’s in my basement.
Would love to add that brushed aluminum Daley to the stable. N+1 🤙
Loving the raw
Loving the ratchet style dt swiss hub
Loving the 165mm cranks
HARO is listening to the people
That's dope, nice to see haro back at it. Now I want to see some gt/dyno and haro livery from back in the day.
Heavy but awesome! Stoked to see the carbon version...
Shad life had kinda predicted this geo, it's a great thing for T-rex shaped ppl and BMX'ers, pretty stoked on Haro coming back seriously...
Very nice! My first mtb ever was a bright anodized blue Haro V4 in the mid 90’s that I bought new for around $400, good memories
Been waiting for this release. Have loved my Saguaro but I think it's about time for an upgrade and that stone Daley is looking mighty fine! Thanks for the first look!
I grew up in Vista and it's cool to see Haro release new mountain bikes. You should come ride the namesake trail system too: Dailey Ranch.
Im stoked haro is making a come back i still have my esrly 2000's backtrail pros one in grean and one in blue with alex tripple walls! So rad
The raw finish is so beautiful ! I would like to have this option in every brand
Depending how committed you are. you can do this to any AL frame.
Good looking machine! 🤩 I'd like to try one of these.
wow.. full XT build and that frame would be perfect. hope they keep it priced cheaper and that raw frame!
Sick Whip! 90’s BMX here. GT and Haro baby!! I need one of these bikes 👍👍🇺🇸

Now lets see if Mongoose will come back swinging, or even Schwinn. I have a 2000 Schwinn rocket 88, and love it.
Absolutely beautiful bike

Transition will drop the best looking bike tomorrow ❤
?????
Looks exactly like my alloy Smuggler, but with neater chainstays.
Not a bad thing.
The tunnel joke 😂😂😂😂
Plushest bike of the year? I want one then!
Haro Dave Mirra was my 2nd BMX bike over the GT Vertigo
Woo! A new Jeff video!
Thanks for watching, Spencer!
I dont see me going away from my YT Jeffsey anytime soon but if Haro had a raw brushed frame Daley out last year I would be riding it now. They have decent colors now but its a mistake to not offer raw.
So true, she is a LOOKER 🤩👌🏼
Sick bike!
4:49 gotta admit that combo was smooth A.F.
I dig it. Looks like the builds they are offering right now a bit different, I dont see anything with DT Swiss wheels.

I do like that finish - and I do wish the Madonna had the option 😄. Could be done but… More riding, less faffing I say!
Haro Numberplates!
Looks like a kick ass bike for hardcore riders that don’t wanna break the bank. Ripmo AF vibes.
I miss my Haro Team master in chrome. That fork sure was making some noise

Beautiful bike and fun riding! The raw aluminum is only a prototype and not available as sale?
That’s what I’m wondering cause I can’t find anywhere besides reviews. What a mistake on haro end if that’s the case.
The website only has black and tan, blahsville
Thanks Chrsei! This Raw one is a proto, but a production one is coming soon. They'll announce it as an upgraded model in the future. It's a little higher price point than the bikes that were announced last week, but more in line with the stuff I normally ride and cover on the channel.
Can you review Dartmoor rocbird enduro frame thanks
Greetings from PH
2,000 for the entry level spec is pretty solid. I'd imagine people will cross shop this to Polygon or Norco.

@JeffKendallWeed you should test the RAAW Madonna V3 if you like this.

Thanks Tomas, I've been digging it!

You said you’ve ridden at Greer ranch in California, sadly it’s going to be gone soon with new housing development
Comment comment comment. Interacting with comments. Satisfying the algorithm. Comment comment. Lol
hope they come to europe😢
What hub was it on the dt swiss wheels?
Great Q- some sort of DT hub, that accepted traditional star ratchets.
@@JeffKendallWeed okey! I have 18 points of engagement but i wasn't sure if I could upgrade, I fought that the free hub on my dt swiss 370 had to be changed too in order to accept more contact points. Seems like I have to do some research
I just realized how the hub worked, thanks for letting me find out! I will upgrade soon 😂
But, what does Haro offer that can’t be found somewhere else. They are just another company diluting the market.
I do not like the production colors. I would buy this if they kept the raw look frame.
Best looking? Honestly, they all kinda look the same. There's only so much variation for a full-suspension bike.
Looks like a Marin
Looks like a dozen other catalog bikes straight from Taiwan.
I have never seen another rear end shaped like this. Nor another front end with these same tube profiles. It's quite unique.
Just looks like a previous gen trek fuel ex
Literally lol
Not a bad thing, that bike rips.

looks like a cheap mix of kona, norco, pivot and trek haha
