I remember over 20 years ago walking into Donn’s drum shop in Bellevue. And I didn’t really have a lot of money, but he set me up with some old cymbals, and he treated me with respect, even though I didn’t have a lot of money, and I will never forget that, and I appreciate it Donn. thanks
Thanks to Bart and Don for an exciting discussion about some rare and personal artistic instruments. The intrinsic value of his historic collections has a tremendous impact to the community. With the connection to the instrument to make music. It certainly goes deeper than this. Don is providing a valuable service to perpetuate the memories of what was, is and will be. ❤❤
I bought my vintage 1970’s Ludwig Stainless Steel kit from Don Bennett’s shop in 2004. It was shipped from Washington State to Massachusetts. It’s a great sounding kit and it gets lots of notice.
so much little minutia owning a music store. selling collectables at this level requires a thick book that doesnt exist. BIG money or buying stuff advertised on line youu become a hustler. ANTIQUE ROADSHOW geek out.

Donn a huge contributor to quality of life in the Seattle area for so many years when I was there.
That was fun to watch. I have been checking Donn's site for years but this is the first time I have ever "met" him

theres a certain beauty to a vintsge set thats on display. ive never owned any musical instrument thats been played by a well known star.
Never in the long history of Bart's channel has an uninteresting guest been on.
