They are NOT going to make a film titled Godzilla Vs Kong to not have them actually fight each other. I keep hearing folks say "Kong actually fighting mecha, real Godzilla will show up at the end to team up with Kong to take on mecha", by the look of the trailer, Kong is whooping that ass and may not even need "real" Godzilla's help plus that theory makes ZERO sense because folks been waiting for a Godzilla vs Kong for DECADES, WB isn't going to introduce the "real" Godzilla at the end of film. .

my bet is that godzilla is hunting down mecha g and is destroying everything that is standing in front of him.
as the map when madison talks shows that he has been attacking apec facility's
and apex is listed as a cybernatics company in the cast list,
so they may have build mecha g. and may bouncing around it's signal so godzilla is led to the wrong facility each time

I have a few theories about the trailer:
1) the axe in kongs hand is a spike from a previous battle with the real Godzilla. That is why it absorbs the atomic breath
2) probably the biggest one of all. The Godzilla we see is not the real Godzilla. It is in fact mecha Godzilla. There are some parts in the trailer that hint to this. This will explain why Godzilla is so violent, because it’s not the real G man.
3) Kong is in the hollow earth, which is where he gets the axe and meets camazotz the bat titan.
4) mecha Godzilla is being used by the Gillian from king of the monsters.
I’m so happy you guys reacted to this and I eagerly want to know your thoughts on the trailer.
The handle seems like it’s made of wood. It should have been destroyed.

When it comes to Kaiju, your reaction is the best 😂 I think Godzilla in this series is Earth's protector, rather than Humanity's. We've seen this classic storyline before, which has me excited for more icons in this film 😬

Lady phat blood looks so pretty, overall KOTM was good but too much was given away before the film which killed it.
That’s why I watch one trailer from KOTM and I enjoy the hell out that movie
Here are the things i wanna say: the color grading, cinematography, fight choreography, cgi and balance between daylight and night time scenes, i like all of that. Mechagodzilla, Godzilla's potential villainous role and the plot of the movie is where i have mixed feelings about it. Not about the execution mind you, just how will all of it play out.

It’s cool that we’ll finally get a scene of Godzilla destroying a city as a villain. It’s something we haven’t seen yet in this series

A couple of theories - 1. Primates are known to utilize rudimentary tools and 2. the original worshippers of Kong helped create the Axe.

Phat Samurai .....props to Lady Phatblood to notice that line from Millie Bobby Brown and her dad about Godzilla acting out of character. At the beginning of the trailer, you can see a red glow up above when people are going down the stairs. Theory allude to Mecha Godzilla existance and as we know, there's a skeletal remains of Godzilla species found in some mine in the Philipines. But who knows....lets just see what happens
What if they do a Mecha Godzilla with some kind of software like the Orca messing with Godzilla, making him destroy everything in its path . We still have to keep in mind the Ghidora head they managed to save

This was the best reaction video I've seen. You know your Godzilla lore. He can be played either way. Originally he was a villain. They had Kong getting the better of him throughout the trailer, because everyone was wondering how he was going to be able to compete with Godzilla. It looks like they are trying to give the fans what they want in this movie with lots of monster action. Btw... I think the music for this trailer was very appropriate. I'm a fan of the original movie, and I thought there was no way in hell they would ever make another one. So...HERE WE GO!!!!!

Godzilla is not controlled just VERY VERY PISSED. All the places he attacks are either Apex bases or facillities.He's feeling Mechagodzilla and he's on a hunt around the globe to find it. The battle between him and Kong is a misunderstanding as the humans and Kong think Godzilla is on a destructive rampage just for the hell of it.

I’ve been thinking about this, I think just about everyone is in agreement that the Godzilla Kong fights in this is Mecha, but if that’s the case he’s manhandling him, so why would a team up be needed unless he gets an upgrade, sooooo maybe Mecha King Ghidorah? But I dunno. Lots of theories that may or may not be wrong. I just know that after watching this trailer so much I’ve reached there point if it actually has a winner and isn’t a tie or neither wins, then the winner will clearly be Kong, this trailer alone is a Kong trailer, he’s the hero, has a little girl that he’s friends with, got a fucking axe to counter the Atomic Breath. Butt I could be wrong, we’ll be finding out in a couple months. Either way I really think I’ll enjoy the movie, so as a huge Godzilla fan, as long as the loss isn’t bs, I think I can accept it.

The ship Godzilla fucks up is a WW2 battleship. The last Battleship was decommisioned by the US Navy in the 1980's. You can tell its a battleship by the tri-barreled Turrets because 1. no ship ever had a Tri-Barrel turret configuration of the main guns other then battleships, and two, the placement of the turrets - two batteries forward of the con. I think that scene is a flashback, because if you look at the ship configuration of the convoy carrying Kong, you see a oil rig carrier (the one Kong is on), an Aircraft carrier, a missile cruiser, and 3 destroyers. None are large enough to support nine 16" guns (talking about the cruiser and destroyers) - plus the guns themselves are obsolete, when you can arm missiles with any type of ordinance.

That aside, what did you all think about the music and overall trailer? I liked the content of it but i feel like past trailers left me with goosebumps. This one not so much.

I've been waiting for this reaction for a while now!
In the beginning of the trailer when the people were running down the stairs that was MEGA GODZILLA walking over the top of them, you could see his face. And one part in the Laboratory one the screen behind him you could see them charging or uploading something and MEGA GODZILLA was on the screen behind him.✌💯
They didn't show it directly, but there are at least 6 references to MechaGodzilla. The 2 biggest being a small glimpse at 2:20, (or 0:04 actual trailer), and the control panel at 3:58 (1:42).
But, I hope this is all a huge plot misdirection, and Godzilla becomes the real "Doomsday" of this universe.

In the legendary comics they explain that some humans especially the Eewe people on skull island posses the ability to connect psychically with the Titans.

With only two months left, I really hope they don’t blow their load and put out a hundred more tv spots and three more full trailers. Maybe a short minute long trailer next month but no more than that.
Like you guys, I lost my will power and watched all of the KOTM stuff and was left with very little in the theatre.
I was super excited to see your reactions! I didn't have high expectations at all for this movie, but I'm honestly excited now. I'm a fan of all Godzilla types (except Shin) and I really love the "Defender of Earth" version of him. Although, it's cool to see a heel turn from a hero that is already established. Overall, I'm meh on the Monsterverse. I think it has some awesome concepts, perfect character models, and great lore, but I think it's honestly moving too fast, but that could just be my writer's brain wanting to make a MCU version of the Monsterverse. Overall, I'm excited!

I like how she pointed out that Kong Skull Island took place in the 1970's If this movie takes place in 2021 than Kong has had 50 years to grow up more. Because I think they said Kong was still a teenager in his last movie but I can't wait to see this movie.
