Great tips and help for many players. Since I'm a completionist and have been playing RPG's for decades, this is how I had already planned in advance to play the game, as I do all my games, with RPG elements, skill points, upgrades, XP, side content, etc. Since I'm also a PC only player, I won't be playing the game until it ports to PC in around 2026. I'm a natural born explorer and find a scanner just as necessary as a weapon in a game. That's one reason that all my games take 10 times longer to complete than most other players. A 25 hour playthrough for many, equals a 250 hour or more, playthrough for me. I can't wait to play this epic masterpiece of a game in a couple of years. Farming and resting in a certain area, can help build a player's XP as well, since the lesser enemies respawn after each rest, which is great for anyone who struggles with combat, as well as Story Mode does as well. Rinse and repeat to your heart's content. Stellar Blade is an epic and stellar masterpiece! 10/10 Pros: Everthing, except for Tachy's storyline. Cons: Tachy's storyline. Tachy should have been the main protagonist, even though her hotness, would have been more distracting while playing the game.
I didn't know that the random chairs outside of camps didn't respawn enemies. I'd been ignoring them. I've not seen other tip videos mention this, so thanks!
The beta and burst skills tied to the circle button are insanely strong when fully upgraded. They can stagger enemies and can even negate fatal moves from both regular enemies and bosses.
You left out 'auto loot' one of the easiest ways to improve the game. You will pick up things you don't even see. Like coins on the ground. Plus, it beats walking around pushing a button.
Thanks for the heads up about those points of no return. I definitely would've made the mistake of playing those missions and getting locked out side content on my first playthrough.
Don’t the points of no return have a notification pop up telling the player that’s it’s a point of no return? People are literally incapable of using their own brain anymore.
I don't understand why people make these "tips and tricks" and "don't make these mistakes" videos and then go on to just literally tell you how to play the game and every single thing that you will learn FROM just playing the game.
warning to those wanting the Platinum- do not do any sidequests if you want "Cost of Lost Memories" as Lily's Affinity must not exceed 80%. So just go through the story and ignore any side content. "Making New Memories" will be your ending if you follow these tips fully. "Return to the Colony" ending is always available regardless, just refuse when prompted at the end boss series.
best tip i have regarding fast travel: in Xion's phone booth at the gate near the bridge, you can jump over to the bulletin board. i learned that one after unlocking double jump, but i am unsure of whether it was doable prior.
There’s actually no humans in the game. (Spoiler: Other than Adam and Orcal.) If you see a dead body with a Memory Stick, that’s actually an Android. (Half-human, half robot.)
You can still travel to other places after the 2nd point. You just have to run down the path from xion to wasteland then you can still fast travel to other areas
He’s wrong on the point of no returns. There’s only one and it’s when you leave to the orbital elevator. The game pops a notification when this happens.
everyone keeps saying the point of no return is after completing abyss levoire, but isn’t it technically when you actually start orcals testimony and go on the ship and accept the point of no return? or am i literally locked out of something just because i completed abyss levoire. i’m still in xion walking around.
One mistake you can make because well I did. do not I repeat do not spend your stuff on droid upgrade material or gear sockets. Spend them on the healing potions. By the time you get to the junk yard your gear sockets should be just about upgraded to max and your droid will be maxed by the time you get to abyss levoire just by picking up the items around the environments.
it's called The Nest. That is the true PNR. All Eidos 9/ Spire 4 locks is sidequests. You are still able to return to say The Oasis in the Great Desert. It does not lock you out of say the Summer Event Area if you toggled it on. Once you begin the path to The Nest- you then are locked and cannot return until NG+ back to Xion.
Just a little side note the camps without the gear enhancement box, if you slash the vending machine there for the item shop you get some gold, this does not work with the full supply Camp though
The platforming parts and the missions that require only using the gun are the 2 parts of this game that keep it out of GOTY convo for me. The platforming parts are very out of place in this game… the gun only missions take away all the stuff I’ve been building and upgrading…
On the bulletin board I had two requests that was refused “the diary’s revenge” and “secret request” wanted to know if anyone else had these quests refused as well or is it just me 😅
One wanted someone to end Eve for reading their diary and the other wanted Eve to get drugs basically, Eve refused both since she's not going to end herself nor is she going to get drugs for someone
You can’t do those, I think they’re just there for character development reasons to show that Eve has limits to how much help she’s willing to give others. They don’t affect your progress or game endings or anything.
I did not take the 37th can in spire 4 (in the maintance sector) and I don t know how to get back there to grab "moonwell". Does anyone know how to get back there ? Or it is really impossible ?
I got to the final Point of No Return minus 3 Naytibas and 2 Camps. After running around for a few hours...I searched online and found that those appear After the point of no return.
Great tips! The point of no return caught me by surprise, I missed a body core after you activate an elevator in the spire 4 lobby, it was the very last 1 I needed and I couldn’t use the elevator once I had completed the area 😅
4 months late and you probably beat the game by now. But holding triangle it’ll initiate rush mode where you dash towards enemies. You can always upgrade it to go father and recharge. Faster
Provided you have a physical copy and don’t install the updated patch yes it’s still there. At least in my Korean version I have, also the Asian version seems to be the same as well. Not sure about the western copy 🤔
I got most everything my first play through and everything else my next play through as well as being pretty much over powered I had to roll naked for a challenge
