It wouldn't surprise me if most of these are down to stage or in-ear monitor issues. People don't realise how difficult it is to sing in tune if you can't hear your own voice properly , and without good monitoring you literally can't hear what you are singing.
BB I agree on most points with you...but i think their is quite problem in the Pop industry the expectations getting bigger and bigger most singers i think forcing their Voices way to much out of their Natural vocalrange and Some Are quite good in this technique but i think Labels dont care about the singing technique with all the studiotechnique nowdays Even badsingers will sound perfect on the record but Live...lol

@@michaozga7825 what's coming out of the mics is coming out of the speakers, far away from the singer and pointed away from them. Having an in-ear monitor is like having a speaker in your ear, so it *is* basically just using the mic.

Child Of God_1 it’s quite obvious they do, they kept trying to support their opinions with things that did tend to be incorrect most of the time throughout the video, and also kept cutting out before the singers were actually climaxing to the best part.

Yh I agree with u but also remember that at the end of the day, people have their own opinion and are entitled to that. However, it is also very rude to the singers to get a video of them on an off day and say that they are always bad
I mean, I think it's fine to show amazing singer's bad moments, because it's a reminder that everybody has off days. But sometimes that's not people's intentions in posting these videos. For me, it helps keep me grounded and remember that even the best singers have... Questionable moments
I think people are so used to studio vocals that they think live singing is bad when it has any amount of character or bad moments

I think what bothers me most is when they mention Katy Perry. Having fun isn’t a bad thing and live performances aren’t going to be perfect. At least you’ll know they’re singing.
I feel like the notes were different to the original but they were all still solid notes lol
I am upset about the clip in comparison with Katy, I mean, if you hear the song, you don't have to sing that high, because it's boring and noisy, yes you're good but this is not the song, so it's better to sing the song as it is, you can prove you're a good singer just singing good. That was one of Katy's worst firework performances, she got better and better this is old

If the choreography makes it so Katy Perry can't sing well, then it needed to be changed. It's still an oversight.
Eh most pop singers put on flamboyant shows with dancing and running around. Their vocals suffer, hence why a lot of them lip sync (also some of them are severely autotuned and sound like crap live regardless). I'm guessing they don't care about the vocal quality as much as the rest of the performance.
I thank you for forgiving katy because she doesn't deserve it. Because singers don't stay at the same level they can improve. And katy improves a lot since 2008

SallyWind autone? also regardless of her talent, selena doesn’t claim to have some incredible voice. she has trouble with breath control due to lupus. she makes music because she likes it and people like hearing her story
Jordan Hawkins It has nothing to do with her illness, she has no natural singing ability, live or not. As I said, I respect her as a person but I do not support false singing careers. She can "like" music all she wants but come on now a music career is worth millions when you are a celebrity. It's all about that income. There is a distinct difference between doing music for convenience and doing music for passion. Halsey may not have the best voice for example but I can see her passion for it. It's merely a truthful statement and not personal.

People don’t seem to take into account that the live performances involve dancing and active performing, which means the singer might get slightly out of breath making them sound a little off. Sometimes singers can also be overworked, tired, sick, losing their voice, etc. Live music will never sound like a studio recording and somehow people don’t realize this. I loved your points and how you defended the clips in this.

Whoever made that vid clearly doesn’t understand how hard it is to sing and dance and perform on stage, these singers also often times can’t hear themselves on stage either so it’s really hard to sing on time and in tune

I agree and I don't. I think she gets lazy and shouts or has the audience singing a lot of the time - I saw a broadcast of her concert two weeks ago, and that's what I noticed...
but I still feel like she - or whoever writes her songs - doesn't quite think the songs through and how they will work live...Firework, for instance, is incredibly hard to sing, and unless she's very well rested, she'll always have a heard time pulling it off

I have. the acoustic part of her set was definitely her best vocally, but she ain't no Whitney, no matter how hard she tries or how much you want her to be...she can obviously sing her songs, but she's human, and like ANY singer out there, she can't be jumping around for an hour and then come out and belt out Firework perfectly while running across the stage
you're obviously a fan, I'm obviously not...I never said she can't sing, I said she might not want to or be physically able to sometimes because the songs are great for recordings but not a high energy live show...

I love Tristan lol. I grew up in a musical family and kinda had vocal lessons? Idk I feel like I know a good amount so I like watching him try to be nice about the video when it so frustrating bc for anyone who sings or has had experience on stage or just singing while doing high energy activities it's easy to understand where a lot of these artists are coming from. Like some of these are just down right bad but there are way too many of these that shouldn't have been thrown in here
