Brilliant episode, I find the Tibetan people and country fascinating, here in the west we get so much bad info, but as far as I could see the people are very happy. The horse festival was fascinating and the tent hospitality of each family was great, even in Saudi Arabia, it can be the same, they also love horses.
China is always a peaceful and harmonious country, every ethnic group is well integrated in the country as well as preserves their own culture. I don’t know why the west always makes up horrible stories about us? Maybe the west just makes up excuses for invading us and robbing our good stuffs?
The tent cities in China is so different from the USA ! People are so happy & literally dancing on the streets, food aplenty to eat merrily, healthy activities & so safe for Yan to travel alone with strangers !😊😊 It would be odd that these people would want to have the tent cities of the west that some politicians want you to believe ?!!
@@陳大勇-r7q just a couple days ago after completing my latest 20 day group bike adventure doing a circular ride starting in Thailand then crossing into S Laos, then Vietnam and all the way south to cross over into Cambodia and then north to visit the amazing Angkor Wat and then finally back to my home in Thailand, was told that in June/July next year we will be riding to Tibet, again starting in Northern Thailand, very excited.

New faces, hundreds of beautiful extra's and a hand full of strong characters who let you and us see a glimpse of their life. It is soooo rich. And today felt exciting from beginning to end. Although the CCP is used to controlling everything, such as religious beliefs (some), the benefits it has brought to the Tibetan people far outweigh the disadvantages. All Tibetans love the CCP except the Tibetan ruling class
I watched carefully and found that during the race walking, the four hooves of the horse were not lifted off the ground at the same time. This is the same as the race walking in human track and field competitions, where both feet cannot leave the ground at the same time. I didn't expect that horses can also race walk, it's amazing!

20 years agoon my way to Yading, our bus stopped at Litang for an hour. once I got off the bus I could hardly breathe, no matter how hard I tried to breathe in, it was just like there was no oxygen at all. I didn't feel this way even when I was hiking to Milk Lake later which has a higher altitude. This place stays in my mind in a really impressive way.
The traditional Tibetan dresses are beautiful & their dancing is one of a kind. This is one very rich culture & heritage. Being there would be a privilege! Wonderful people! You done a great service to them showing us!👍🙏🥰 Thanks

Litang is such a beautiful place with its vast grassland. The people are very courteous, friendly, hospitable and harmonious. and they have such an interesting culture. Thank you for giving us such an awesome insight of the place and their culture.
From the Megapolis capital Chengdu and big cities like luzhou and mianyang to little towns like litang or kangding, Sichuan really appreciates the slow paced lifestyle unlike places like Beijing, shanghai or Hong Kong.

You have no idea. That boss man said in pastral area every household has 300 yaks minimum and he has 500. Each yak costs like 10-20k RMB depends on size. Which means, ALL of them are millionaires.

Gaited horses have been around since horses lol. Check out the Icelandic Horse as a great example.

20 years agoon my way to Yading, our bus stopped at Litang for an hour. once I got off the bus I could hardly breathe, no matter how hard I tried to breathe in, it was just like there was no oxygen at all. I didn't feel this way even when I was hiking to Milk Lake later which has a higher altitude. This place stays in my mind in a really impressive way.

What lovely people over there. So incredibly welcoming and hospitable. I really liked the folk dancing, especially in the beginning. Looked like a very fun thing to do. We used to have folk dancing at school, in my younger years and it was one of my favorite lessons.

Tibetan songs is what I am listening to now - my fav is Nubri dong, Guozhuang dance by WengMu, Sula and others - even though I live in the USA, and originally from Douth India, I love the Tibetan songs and dance and I now get to see it, thanks to your beautiful videos
there are Guozhuang dance event in USA as well...though not daily like in tibet itself

You have no idea. That boss man said in pastral area every household has 300 yaks minimum and he has 500. Each yak costs like 10-20k RMB depends on size. Which means, ALL of them are millionaires.
