Description
1. Cut two pieces of fabric: one 18-20 inches long and 6-8 inches wide, and the other 4 inches wide and the same length as your elastic band.
2. Fold the larger piece of fabric in half lengthwise with right sides facing each other.
3. Pin and sew along the long edge, leaving the short ends open.
4. Turn the fabric tube right side out.
5. Fold the smaller fabric piece in half lengthwise, sew along the edge, and turn it right side out.
6. Cut an elastic band 15 cm (5.8 inches) long and 2.5 cm (1 inch) wide.
7. Insert the elastic band into the smaller fabric tube and secure the ends with pins.
8. Tuck one end of the elastic band into one end of the main fabric piece, align the raw edges, pin, and sew securely.
9. Repeat for the other end of the elastic band.
10. Ensure both ends are sewn securely to create a continuous loop.
11. Press the headband with an iron if needed.
