I bought a luggage strap from Longchamp and got my cobbler to punch holes in the leather tags either side of the zip and strengthen with bonding on my Pliage travel bag allowing for it to be worn as a cross body / over the shoulder. So far so good!!

So, I checked your other videos on crossbody bags, very informative , and I narrowed it down to Coach. They look very elegant and they are closest to my budget, since I’ve found a discount for the Carrie bag 😉, in a nice light blue color which I hope will be versatile and easy to wear! The size of the bag troubles me a bit. It seems to me on the small side whereas I prefer medium sized bags. I will be ordering it today since I’m traveling next week…

I have the Lancaster Dune M Clutch, $179USD, in five colours - it’s so good for travel. The leather is to die for. It’s soft and conforms to the body so well if you don’t over-stuff it. It’s about the biggest bag I feel can look ok UNDER a jacket or coat. For safety, you can swap the leather strap for a chain strap. They make a slightly smaller size, too. 😊

I also like to carry my Longchamp bags for travel and for work. I also have a great cross body messenger bag by Sonia Rykel( going with me to Paris next week again) . I often carry Polene Un mini with the chain. It is very dressy, classy and pretty roomy, it fits, small wallet , glasses, lipstick , scarf.
My daughter who goes with me to Paris next week wonders if she is safe to bring her classic medium Chanel bag for theater and evenings. She rarely wears it, life is so busy .During the day she will carry my Sonia Rykel., no problem.❤

the problem with the oleada is that there is no zipper nothing to close it. I do wear the oleada for work in Paris I find it perfect and chic.

Although aesthetically very beautiful, the bag is not very practical or secure for everyday use. The absence of side locks makes it vulnerable to theft and unwanted access, an aspect that should not be underestimated, especially nowadays, when security is an essential factor when choosing a bag.

How is a full zip not secure? Or you didn't see it? It looks practical and secure.
This Ateliers Auguste bag is a great choice for a travel bag. The leather is substantial and not easily cut. To access the full-width zipper, a pickpocket must first figure out how to unlatch the flap and then hold it open against the pull of gravity while simultaneously trying to unzip the bag without being noticed.
I also love the look of this bag, as it is elegant, with subtle branding, and goes with many types of outfits.
This bag is roomy enough to hold many items inside - in case you need to carry a bit more.
