    I’m so grateful to have been able to watch almost every game last season, it was a work of art. All the Nuggets are good!

      Their playoff run was simply spectacular.
      Nobody was ever close to touching Denver last season, and i bet it’s going to go down the same way this year.
      PRIME MVP JOKIC surrounded by monster athletes and shooters and Jamal Murray = rings.

    "Peđa action". That's a fitting name for that backscreen + DHO that the Kings used to run for Stojaković to get open for the 3. That Kings iteration with Bibby, Christie, Stojaković, Webber and Divac was a lot of fun to watch, and they played a beautiful brand of offensive free-flowing basketball. It's a pity that those Kings did not win an NBA championship...

      They were better than Lakers, but all of 3 refferies was in Lakers jersey also

    I love understanding these actions and philosophies. Man NBA defenses are gonna need more than a few offseason “conversations” to slow down the Nuggets Rip DHO 5 headed monster.

    This video just proves how much of a GOAT Adam is. You just don't get this kind of content anywhere else. I could watch videos like this all day and the way Adam breaks it down is chefs kiss!
    We are lucky to have Adam and his DNVR and locked on Nuggets content. Keep it up and I hope to be able to come down to the bar and kick it one day.

  • @almostvegas117
    @almostvegas117 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    Great work Adam! Being able to read and react correctly to what the defense is giving you is an underappreciated skill on the Offensive end of the floor. I guess it's usually filed under Basketball IQ. I think the AAU model of youth basketball hurts this development with it's heavy focus on iso offense. The play works so well for the Nuggets, as Jokers passing is above elite and Aaron's defender is usually the worst perimeter defender on the opposing team. They get switched on to Murray and can't get around Joker for the DHO. This leads to those open 3's from Murray. I heard Lakers fan scream at the TV about the bad guard (DLo, Vando, Schroeider) defense when often it was the big guarding AG who got lost. Keep up the good work and go Nuggets!!

  • @kumbandit
    @kumbandit ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Forgot the #4 - when there's 5 secs left on the clock just pass the ball to Joker and let him do his thing xD
    On a side note, Gordon is not getting nearly enough recognition - in my books he is the contender to be the 2nd star of the team, he is amazing!!!

    Great video, and impeccable timing with Adelman coaching tonight under the sad circumstances.
    I really appreciate the historical tie-ins and now I’m wondering if Dave’s dad and the Coach Malone duo worked together in Sac! I’m guessing they did.

    I LOVE BEING A SERB. Since we came to The Balkans we are involved in major things. Nation about 8 mil ppl tho we have more ppl in diaspora then in our homeland we gave the world : Milutin Milanković (perfect calendar), Nikola Tesla, Mileva Marić ( Einsteins 1st wife), Mihajlo Pupin, Milunka Savić (the most decorated women soldier in WW1). Nation that was hired as soldier in ancient Roman Empire to guard borders from the barbarians we defended Euope from Otoman Invasion when all but fiew men died and in that honor all the christian churches ring bells in noon. In WW2 for 1 german soldier wunded 50 Serbs was executed and for 1 German soldier ded a 100 Serbs was executed. Even children which is documented in Bloody fairytale by Desanka Maksimović. Under the 500 years of Otoman rule every 2 years Serbs payed blood taxes by givin their young boys to the Otomans to become Elite Yanitsar units. In 1999 when NATO under U.S. bombed Serbia every day and night for 3 month people protected the bridges by making parties on them with the targets on our backs in hope that the pilots would have a heard. In WW1 all of Serbian people crossed the Albanian mountains by foot to get to Greece and recover. That is Short Serbian history that Nikola Jokić, Peđa Stojaković, Vlade Divac, Novak Đoković and other grate sportsman live with. Serbs are a product of natural selection of survivors over tens of centuries. Serbs are the only people in the world that have more people in diaspora then in a homeland. And only people in Europe that use 2 alphabets. Cyrillic and Latin scripts. I REALLY ❤ BEING A SERB. Serb (Servus a home slave that serves the lord in peace and protects in war. Part of the Slavs the biggest slave group that became a word for slave in English).

    • @Vulpessentia
      @Vulpessentia ปีที่แล้ว +5

      As stated in the video, this action they use is nothing new. Teams know they are going to do it. The Nuggets just have some really good personnel and chemistry between players that make it difficult to guard even if you scout it beforehand. The action is so dynamic and versatile in the moment that playmakers like Jokic and Murray can take advantage of it no matter what the defense does. If a team adjusts, they can just use a different action they have in the playbook. There's no trade secrets being revealed here.

  • @Nilafila76
    @Nilafila76 ปีที่แล้ว

    Do you worry that other teams might now understand this better and then defend it better? Or is this like kids stuff for the pros and they already know just can't stop it?
