Thank you so much for this guide! I am a long time user and when I first installed Daz, I had no idea what the settings should be, and my searches came up with nothing. After having to reinstall Daz, I forgot my original settings, but these seem much better!
Thanks for the settings advice. There's an extra setting in the NVidia control panel not covered in this video: "CUDA - Sysmem Fallback Policy", with the options, "Use global setting (default)", "Driver default", "Prefer no Sysmem fallback" and "Prefer Sysmem fallback". It's probably a new addition in a more recent driver update.
Thank you for the video. I am having problem with rendering. When I am using CPU to render images are rendering fine but when I am using GPU its not working. whenever I hit render using gpu instantly a blank transparent Image is gnerating.
@@FlixityOfficial I figured out the problem my vram is not enough. I am using blender without a problem. It only takes more time. but daz is not working with that. I have 2gb grforce gt730.
If you don't have CPU fall back on the render will be blank when there isn't enough vram. My recommendation is to split your scene rendering. For instance, if you have two characters in one render, delete one and render each one separately. Then, merge the two renders in post-processing . Additionally, remove everything that's outside your field of view.
thanks dude. daz was using an insane 2gb of vram with a blank scene, but now only .5 gb vram with a blank scene. with only 6gb every bit counts. what settings here would you change to lower the amount of vram used, if any?
@@FlixityOfficial ive been still maxing out with 6gb even with just 1 character and clothes and nothing else lmao. just discovered scene optimizer ...so im drastically sizing down the textures with that as im really just using the renders for image to image in stable diffusion so textures are not a big deal i just need the general shape
Amazing. Please don't forget to make an update video about Best NVIDIA Control Panel Settings For DAZ Studio. We wait for that with impatience ! Thank you.
Very useful video. Thanks. In Daz studio, only IRAY supports GPU rendering. Any idea how to get GPU rendering for 3Delight. I do not see options to select GPU for 3Delight.
Just a friendly heads up here. I noticed that the current Nvidia Studio Driver (551.86) really seems to dislike something in these driver setting tweaks. I was having all kinds of crashes from DAZ until I switched the driver settings back to the defaults. Not blaming you, of course -- Nvidia updates and changes their drivers so often, it's nearly impossible to keep up. Your suggested setting changes to DAZ itself still serve me well. Cheers!
I did everything as shown in this video, rendering on the GPU does not work, as soon as I start rendering it just shuts down and stops rendering, while on the CPU it renders normally
Most of what's shown here is either the Long Way to access the nVidia control panel (right click anywhere on desktop, choose "nVideo Control Panel", done), or complete wasted time - choosing the highest performance options will do very little, as those are options for Games, not 3D content creation.
Im using Nvidia 3070 TI (desktop) with 12 gen Intel core (TM) i7 12700KF 3.61GHZ with 32.0 GB RAM. Windows 11 Pro, 64 bit operation, i followed all your steps and daz still renders slow as fuck? Any idea????
@@FlixityOfficial mostly I'm using a standard HDR set to 1.70, from daz studio. Matte fog visibility set to 3921.57. rendering using both CPU and GPU with Firefly on, at Ulta uhd 4k, with bloom filter 0.30, Bloom filter threshold set at 12000 Bloom filter brightness set to 0.20 I also reset render settings to default and rendered again and it's still produces the same outcome Additionally if I'm just using a character model in the scene and nothing else it renders absolutely fine and quickly. Also thanks for the response any help would be greatly appreciated.
Well....................I followed all steps as shown.............now my renders are terrible slow. From about 5 to 8 minutes before - i am now at about half an hour. Geforce RTX3060 I resetted everything............. 😡
Danke!

Hi bro Do you have any settings for CLO3D or marvelous designer
Not yet. Let me know what are those softwares. I will study them and make videos on it.
A scene that wasnt rendering before is now working.. Thank bro!
Glad it helped. You're welcome 🧡
I just used your settings for a new computer and it works great….thank you very much.
Great. You're welcome 🧡
thank you. much faster than before with less fan noise.

Correct your gpu vram is less. Try to upgrade it

That depends on the effects you are using. As you have optimized your daz, gpu will automatically be used in daz as needed. So you're good to go dude!

You're welcome. Your gpu? I think your gpu might not support it
@@FlixityOfficial My GPU is Nvidia RTX A4500
Your gpu is fine. Might be your gpu only supports IRAY Gpu rendering
@@FlixityOfficial That's possible. Thanks for helping!
No, There are NO GPU's that support GPU Rendering in 3Delight, because 3Delight is a Software Renderer. It has NOTHING to do with Studio or your GPU.

If you own a Gsync monitor, you can disable triple buffering and vsync.
Yes, G-SYNC handles this automatically
