Great review! I just subscribed to your channel. Per Marvel's "press release" for this book, it sounds like Taschen used uncoated and woodfree paper for the interior pages to simulate the feel of the original comics. I love that attention to detail. They also used a different paper stock for the covers and end pages of each issue. I believe that is also accurate to how these comics were originally released (better quality paper used for the front and back covers).
They should just do issue by issue reprints in the original comic book format and style including newsprint. I'd start collecting them. I can't really get into anything past about 2000.
Can you help me I just received my taschen spider man book from amazon. But looking at the page that should show copy print number 1-5000 the page is completely blank. Is it normal ? Could some one please answer.
The books with numbers are the first editions that Taschen calls "Famous First Edition". I believe that once those sell out and Taschen still wants to print more copies, the newly printed books will not be numbered.
Dude that's so awesome!! I've never seen this before such a cool way they reprinted the comics for this!!
Yeah it’s truly a beautiful book. I’m so glad I picked it up.
The complete original artwork of Amazing Fantasy # 15 was
donated to the Library of Congress in 2008. The donator
is still anonymous!
I think I arrived here a little bit late, but still an amazing video!! Congratulations!!
Thank you for the in depth review and descriptions! I subscribed !
Thank you! I really appreciate that a lot!
Very nice! We did a close-up look, too, of this beautiful book.... once we got the cellophane wrap off! (Sheesh)

Thanks for this. You inspired me to get it. Oh, pick up the question omnibus. It’s great.
Great video and overview - thank you!
Do you think they’ll make a volume 2?!
I think that is the plan. But first they have Avengers and Fantastic Four coming out this year.
Thsnk you for posting this you're awesome

That would be awesome!

Is it smaller than behold galactus?

That’s really odd. Doesn’t seem right to me. You may want to email Taschen and ask them about this because they’re all supposed to have a number.
@@themutantagenda4737 Thanks for reply. I have learned
since that amazons sold without numbers books unlimited print.
