I'm a college instructor and I was just teaching my class about the top three happiest countries in the world, the top being Finland. The article we read talked about the forests and how the country is 75% forests and that there is the right to roam, all of which my students were astonished to learn about. I share your love for the forests and I hope those trees can be protected forever. We need them! 🌲🌲🌲

    • @sannavaara

Wow, I’m happy you taught your students about our little country 😍😍 We do have a lot of forests and I’m sure those are a part of why our country feels the most happiest. I would say all Finns have some kind of relationship with forests and many families own them. I hope us who wants to protect precious forests are the majority in the crowd when walking about the use of forests ☺️🌱

You are more grateful than privileged. Hearing you is peaceful and gentle. I spent two months in the countryside of Finland recently at an artist residency. My heart filled with the aroma of calm and quiet. Love. Thank you for this beautiful video and your conversation with us. The forest of Finland is magical and fairy soft.

I live in the north of Sweden and it's kinda the same here. Also the water is pure and the air is clean. It's like Finland and Sweden are sisters 🤗🌲🌲

I admire you, quite a lot. You say things that are in my heart, that I don't know how to express, about trees and forests and habitats. You think these things are simple that you say, but they are very profound.

When you try to describe how it feels to be in the forest it reminds me that i feel simmilar. Almost like there is no time or like we jump into different time or space in places like this where nature is alive .
Im do glad i found your channel. Now its my favorite thing to watch in the morning. It has this quality to regulate my nervous system. That makes it a therapeutic tool to use apart from that is puree pleasure to watch !!! I wish you always stay in all of yourself which is pure and natural. Its so precious that you share it here. I sometimes make some terapeutic video for myself to watch when i come out of my tune. Thank you for YOU.

I think trees communicate with people in a certain way, like much of nature, but only a few people have the ability to feel it. Perhaps because many of us are desensitised by the modern world. I think you Sanna are one of the few.

The forest is 💯 my happy place. We have recently have had many wildfires here in Canada, and all forest activity was banned for a week. We finally have had enough rain for the for the ban to be lifted 🎉! Many people lost their homes, however, and my heart goes out to them ❤.

Since watching your videos, I find peace of mind more and more. I live in a small and a bit noisy country, where sometimes it's hard to sit still and enjoy the moment. But the simple, but at the same time valuable things that you tell Sanna about in these videos, encourage me to dream that I, together with my family, will one day live in the bosom of nature. (google translate:))) Thank you❤🤗

Forests and all trees are joyous and wonderful. I miss the forests now I no longer live near one. The trees in my garden have to do. I love trees and used to walk in them every day, when I still lived in Europe. I believe trees are the life force of our earth, and need to be respected. They should be treated as friends, protectors and valued as such.

Thank you Sanna for your insights, old forests take long time forming the connection between trees so they can communicate and help each other. Farmed trees don’t have that and the ambiance in there is totally different.

Beautiful....Forests.....I live in Florida where almost all of the forests, even the State forests have been logged over. Results being that we have very few truly old natural places. I choose to live in a rural area on a few acres of land which I keep natural. Over 100 pines and many other trees. None are truly old, but it is enough to allow the animals to make their homes and for me to feel part of the real world in a positive way. Sadly many neighbors clear their land for no obvious good reason and "development" is moving closer. I am looking at selling and moving to the foothills of the Appalachians with my dog. It is just not the need for nature but the need to avoid lots of people and the noise and ugliness which comes with.

Me, too. In northern Balt Co Maryland. Been here 20+ yrs and in last 5-7 people moving here b/c it’s so pretty then they tear down tons of trees. Some seasons I see the log bed truck go by full several times a month. It’s awful. I feel like the native american on the commercial when I was young-he shed a tear at the end.
