I am going to have to make a road trip from Evansville to check out your stuff,,, I love your work,, I saw a 48-54 Chevy farm truck that looked like something you would build down here
The reason the right side came off is I replaced the rotted ubolts the cup was full of sand and without a drain hole in the bottom (which I drilled a hole) was rotting the bolts. I believe I did the left side too. They were close to a catastrophic failure. The hood ornament, I was told it came off a Torino. Lol.
I love your videos keep them up I don't think I live too far from you I live in Tipton Indiana I got it on international loadstar 1600 that I've been messing with I thought about putting a 4bt Cummins in it with a 5-speed and leave the splitter in everybody tells me to put a 12 valve in it but I don't think without cutting the firewall it would work
My mouth dropped further open than Cory's when the passenger side shackles self-destructed (or self-disassembled if you prefer). I did not see that coming (especially when the driver's side came apart the way I anticipated). I'm looking forward to seeing your choice of aluminum wheels as well as if you can resolve the offset problem with the wheels or have to use a spacer. Thanks for the great video and please keep them coming.
Looks WAY better dropped down a bit, can't wait to see wheels on it. May have to cut bedside and add fenders. Maybe a wide rear wheel would be better that dually wheels kinda like a semi that has the wider rear wheels 22.5"

Hey Corey, you have a good head for creating and good idea, on the “mouse trap “ isn’t it going to be a little hard to get into it because of the lowering and the style doors? You ever think about designing the doors to open like a Lamborghini and to open by lifting them up? Just a thought of mine, I just thought it would be easier to get in the car and would look cool at the same time my friends! I’m a retired welder with over 40 years experience and I have wild ideas too! I’m too old to do anything now that I’m 62 but I love y’all’s Channel and the ideas y’all have! Whew! that was close and a big surprise! I've seen some bad stuff happen with leaf spring and coil spring removal. Had one shoot partially through the car fender and nearly take a guy's hand with it. Since then, I always strap the coil springs down to keep them from shooting out. Definitely looks better after all that work though. WTF? Heather, you do not look like a hooker! Silly girl. Nothing wrong with you trying something different if it makes you happy. Cory ain't going nowhere, he loves you unconditionally, you can see it in his eyes when he looks at you. Great video! If anything, it was too short! I have to go back and find one I missed to see more fun stuff.

Did you consider air suspension inlieu of springs? However the end result makes the truck ALOT better looking. Awesome on BOTH OF YOU!

Looks like he removed the center bolt holding the spring pack together. Should be replaced with another as they're unique.

I haven't had to much luck cutting springs, they would make noise when you hit a hole in the road or railroad tracks.
