    At that time The Bee Gees were five members in the band. That is Robin on the piano, Vince Melouney guitar standing next to Robin, Maurice in green jacket bass guitar and Colin Petersen on drums. This song became Barry’s signature song in later years. Thank you for your great reaction. ❤❤❤

    That is brother Robin on the piano, very rare! Maurice on bass in the green jacket. Andy did this song, Words, as a Command Performance in the President Reagan era and it is absolutely stunning--must see!!❤❤

    From 1968, This was the first song I ever heard them sing. This was pre Barry falsetto. My cousin's band used to play and sing this song every weekend.

    The Bee Gees were such a big part of my younger time. They put the fever in my Saturday night. They helped mend my broken heart, many times. They showed us how to stay alive. They were such talents. They knew how to use those God given talents to bring musical joy to millions, for decades. I have no doubt they will continue to do so.

      I was 13 and fell for Barry, and all of the BeeGees, then and there. Loved them all my life and still listen to them every single day.

    🎉Robin on piano. Vince Melouney on guitar next to him. Maurice on bass. There aren't many videos of Robin playing any instrument
    Colin Peterson on drums. Check out earlier video of Wine and Women. Even younger. Alot of enthusiasm out of Robin.

    Andy was Barry’s mini twin, they seemed to have the same birth mark, I believe in the same spot! They were the MASTERS in Lyrics and all that comes with music in its whole!!

    I believe the drummer is actually their father Hugh Gibb and he was a Great musician himself and had his own band he managed the boys when they started out ❤

    Oh yes, they were very young here: The year was 1968 and clean-shaven Barry is 22 and the twins are only 19 -- still teenagers! Baby brother Andy definitely looked a lot like big brother Barry. The Bee Gees always composed all their own songs -- such amazing talent.

    Th band BeeGees during the 1967-69 era were 5 members. Brothers Gibb and the other two knew one another other in Australia before they came to England. The guitarist standing near Robin (at piano) is Vince Melouney. Maurice Gibb is wearing an olive green suit playin the other guitar, standing near the drummer , Colin Petersen. The brothers are approximately 22 (Barry) and 19 (twins). I'm too lazy to look up when they appeared in this Ed Sullivan Show episode (in NYC).

    They actually have a video of them performing in 1960 as kids singing Time passing by (written by Barry about age 13/14). Love your reactions you would also love I could not love you more and Wedding Day ❤ Barry sings words to his wife Linda in his 2013/2014 tour and it is beautiful

    As I watch your videos, I'm amazed by your ability to quickly pick up on a brand new song and start singing along. That takes talent. I have to hear a song many times before I dare open my mouth.

      Thank you. I LOVE MUSIC, one thing that is important is writing melodies. I'm pretty sure you know a songs melody before you know the lyrics. Once you get the melody, a chorus usually has the same words. And there you are

      @waynett8810 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@theneverenderreacts Well, actually, I'm more of a 'word' person, so maybe that's why it takes me longer for a melody (or harmony) to get ingrained in my brain.

    If you want to see the BeeGees when they were REALLY young, search for 'BeeGees Alexander's Ragtime band/ My Old Man's a Dustman'. It's a hoot! Barry was all of 16 at the time and the twins (Robin and Maurice) were 13 (and looked about 8 years old!) but they were already fantastic (as well as pretty adorable...). Singing together in harmony from a very early age meant that by the time they were adults it was second nature to them. There are other clips of them singing sitting around with just acoustic guitars on TV interview shows - check out the gorgeous 'Massachusetts' on the Michael Parkinson Show. No bells and whistles, no autotune, no big band, just amazing talent.

    I think this song by the Bee Gees is terribly overlooked.

    You have got to react to Andy Gibb singing Words live at Reagan's Inauguration Dinner. He looks and sounds so much like Barry I had to look again.
