I replaced thermostat that was leaking coolant on my 17. I got quoted by shop like $1500, but ended up taking it on myself. Was not fun but I got it done. I did notice that rinnai heater haha nice that’s what I do for work. My next thing will probably be upgrading pads and rotors this upcoming spring/summer when I can work on the car comfortably. Only 37k on odo so I’m good for now but the brake dust from stock pads is horrendous.
@@-slurmdaddy-8147 yes stock brake dust is crazy! Ill have to keep the thermostat in mind and might do that at the same time as my turbo upgrade. Also thanks, the Rinnai was in the house when I moved, we just bought this house last year!
upgrade the internals, and all the other parts for the car. it will pay off in the long run brother. I own a 16 S6 with ECS outlets and AWE exhaust. saving up for the DS1 tune and TGK intake!
Rear bag you can change in about 10 minutes, you can easily wiggle old ones off with the line off (they compress right up) and obviously the new one will have no air in it yet so its easily manipulated into place. I only needed to take the wheel off and jack it right up on that corner.
I went with new Zimmerman rotors and new ebc red ceramic pads all around and it cut down the dust by 90%. Another tip, if you do engine mounts, do the trans mount at the same time. Speaking from experience with my Daytona Grey '18 S6 👍
Bro I feel you man! I’ve got a ‘14 GLI Ea888 and man the repairs is crazy
@@JettaWildPower a paint to maintain but fun to run!
Cool insight man. Just reached 62K miles on my S7 and looking into preventative maintenance
Thanks man! Hopefully the video was able to help you a bit. this car has definitely needed the most work of all the cars I've owned lol.

@@artemkarp99 I would love too but the money isn’t there for that yet.

@@dezontk101 thanks for that! I was hoping it wasn’t too difficult. I’ll probably just swap it when I do my brakes soon.
