It was fun to get your initial thoughts on Daybreak! I have been living in Daybreak for 5 years now, and it really has been awesome and is a great example of a livable suburb. I use the paths you showed in the video daily, and it is awesome to get places you need to go on a bike through a park type setting. If you need some help for your next video, reach out to me!
Hey Mike! Pinned your comment, I know you have a great video about how daybreak incorporates these elements into their design. Let’s absolutely get together once it starts warming up & explore daybreak together! would love to get your perspective, being a planner yourself!
@@TrentSiggard definitely! It would be awesome to take a tour around with you and show you a lot of the great elements. There are a few things I would do differently, but overall it is a great example on making a more compact suburb with a high quality of life!
have been living here for 2+ years and LOVE it -- its a very special place and we go outside sooo much more than when we lived in a cookie cutter suburb area - so many activities and an amazing place to walk around, bike, the community gardens are a fun time if you get a plot, pickleball has been fun this summer - best place to live hands down
Can you get to the grocery store in Daybreak on the bike road? After that can you get to your doctor, the dentist, the pet store, the vet, coffee place, restaraunts? Bottom line can your daily and weekly trips be by bike? Or is it unsafe to do that except by car?
There are, I plan on doing a deep dive into the neighborhood in the coming months. There is a lot of diversity in land use and village centers spread throughout! This was just my first exploration with no plan
They are planning a new downtown featuring the Bees baseball team stadium.. The area will be called Downton Daybreak and is a thirty year plan. Should be really cool!

You can also easily connect to the MVC trail and go north up towards USANA amphitheater, makes a nice ride.
Likes like an HOA hellscape.
