Right now it's Jackson State as far as World Wide Recognition because of the arrival of deion. Next is probably Florida A&M but prior it was Grambling State & it wasn't even close. If the SWAC & MEAC ever get a Brain & decide to finally work together they'll take ever penny earned for ( 1 year ) & put it all into creating a Super #HBCU to finance new Facility Building, Upgrades & ect that will help bring up every other University into the FBS ( Why they haven't done this yet is beyond me! ) Pick 1 starting with Jackson State & then Florida A&M next & keep it going until every #HBCU is in the FBS to form an #HBCU FBS Conference 😀 This can happen & there are no excuses as to why it can't!
The Most Recognizable Football Brand is in the eye of the beholder, just as beauty is in the eye of the beholder! HBCU in general, have nothing to hang their head, on any given Saturday!
JSU and FAMU maybe hot right now but the most recognizable brand is Grambling.. Grambling has just been consistently winning year in and year out.. Only recently t they have just hit a lil down period… Grambling did last attend a national championship in 2017 less than 10 years ago…
