- This my take on the cool bass groove from "Who do you think you are? " by Spice Girls from 1997. All of the instruments in this track is listed as the production team Absolute, and the bass part is probably played on a five string of some sort. All though this groove is highly repetitive, its kind of hard to pull off properly beacuse of its snarky rhythm. Anyway a great song to start out on if you are new to the five string as its really preferring the two lowest strings. If you dont have a five string, this bassline can of course be done with an octave pedal.
I recorded this on my Music Man Singray 5 (bridge pickup soloed) with completely fresh Elixir strings into a Boss GT1000. All of the transcribing is done solely with the aid of my own ears, and the transcription is done for educational purpose only.
