I remember buying this game on the original PS back in Spring 96. Left school, took a walk down to the local Babbages (old GameStop) and copped this game. After that, my older brother never got his PlayStation back. Good times.
dtadeo2006 Wow thank you for that, really really thank you. Any more recommendations, i've always been interested in listening to the real OG japanese fusion or whatever you wanna call it artists/groups that influenced that special kind of sound in the golden age of Capcom music especially that sound in the Alpha series and MVC2.
Tremuoso I don't know how many times I've listened to the album "Full Colors" by Casiopea, to me, it's the perfect fusion album. Check that out! And lately I've found an excellent talent who has heavy influence of fusion. Check out these two vids (he's the bass player and sound engineer): watch?v=xvFmiYjKtIo and watch?v=ol0HMKyrSzI Let me know if it's your "cup of tea".
dtadeo2006 Loved it man. Been listening through the Casiopea discography from the start, absolutely love them. Great videos, always love video game theme covers especially NES konami and anything Capcom from the 90s. I was more hoping you could point me in the direction of more OG japanese bands in the vein of Casiopea though, when I saw 1979 on their first album, I was like DAMN, I've finally hit upon the real stuff that all these videogame composers were obviously listening to and being influenced by when they were coming up. Any recommendations?
Tremuoso Dude you're a beast, I grew up in the 80s and even I haven't listened to that much Casiopea. I know "T-Squared" is considered somewhat musical peer to Casiopea, although I much prefer the latter. There's another Japanese band I love. Their music is still fast jazz but not quite the same fusion-ey type stuff like Casiopea. They're called Tokyo Jihen and I'm most notably referring to their "Adult" album. I hope you can find it, and if you do, let me know if you like it. en[dot]wikipedia[dot]org/wiki/Adult_(album)
Why did TH-cam make the sound so unclear to all the video game osts?! I’m guessing they don’t want us to reminisce over the good video game classic music… I hate this society and the people behind it…
I prefer MvC2 Ryu and Ken’s art work far better than todays roided bunch. I actually hate this series now and think it’s crap design and crap gameplay. Mind you. I’m 40 and grew up with this and adore Capcom during its heyday.
Late Night With Ken Masters

All I am reading is ass & ass. Get the hell out here

I had this game on ps1 when I was a teenager. I remember taped this song over on a casette, listened to it. Best song in the whole game!
very capcom sounding, reminds me of megaman 8
*This song; is so god, damn, beautiful that it's like Nostalgia Romance*
Leave it to Capcom to turn this face into...you know
Ken's story outfit from SF5. *shivers*

"Megamanized" Ken's theme
Love this theme to death this my most favorite character in the game.
Street Fighter Alpha was my second game on the Sega Saturn in 1996. i used to play and finish it until i can no longer be added to the game rankings
Wtf is with the 1 min silence at the end? Why couldn't u cut it down to 2:36 and end the vid when the music stopped?
I wonder if the people in Capcom who made the music listened to Casiopea because it sure sounds like a song from that band.
100% they did
Ohh Favorite Song I love it!! *_*
My favourite theme👍😎
One of the best versions of Ken's theme👍🏿👍🏿
Round one ( love the voice)
One of best ken themes !!!
Only lose in my opinion for the 3rd strike version
Reminds me of Puzzle Fighter 2
It gives me MegaMan 8 and MegaMan & Bass vibes in some areas
Naoshi Mizuta did this one, he composed about a third of the tracks in MM&B.
This was a cool theme.
Round 1, Fight!
Hadouken!
Hadouken!
Shoryuken!
Na man this is Ken
Shoryuken!
Shoryuken!!
Shoryuken!!!
He always spams it 3 times 😆
Ken the late night tv host
Love this theme!
This is such a capcom-styled vibe... for some reason this style reminds me heavily of the Megaman 8 game for the Playstation. Same kind of bubblyness.
If you like this kind of music, you should check out Casiopea!

oooo my god my childhooooooood
At the start it sounded like top gun aha
I think they made this remix so it wouldn't sound too much like mighty wing
@@chronoplex89 Instead, it still has an intro bass riff that sounds like Kenny Loggins' "Danger Zone!" :D
Nice
Danger Zone

What a weird Ken theme this was.
the artist's portrayal of American facial features is terrible
ken is japanese i mean look at his eyebrows
