This is actually the same alarm at my school. We also have doors that close with magnets and powered plastic gates that slide to the side when the panel sends a signal
I got a notification from this and it woke me up. So im here now..

At my school we have a newer EST voice evacuation system (not sure the exact model) we have the same “emergency” button in the office but, it says “lockdown” on it instead of “emergency” and plays a lockdown message. Anybody else kinda wish he put speaker strobes in the new S.E.R with the wheelock voice evacuation system?
the "emergency button" is called the safety technologies international [sti] Push Station.
The art museum In my area had a test preformed right before it was being opened to make sure it was secure and ready in the event of a emergency and made the first voice alert

Hey. Have you ever thought about doing a full system board with Notifier devices? I’ll be honest they’ve sort of become a standard for anything fire protection in my county for schools and other public buildings. I definitely think Notifier makes some neat systems with some really neat panel functions.
I agree too! And he might make one, he actually has an AFP-400 that he wants to get a case for and put on a board someday, he made a video about it

I work for a school and we have a button like that blue one in the kitchen that is yellow with the word "lock down" on it and pressing it causes the thing to say "ATTENTION STAFF AND STUDENTS, LOCKDOWN, LOCKDOWN, LOCKDOWN" I hope I never have to push that thing, but it's nice that we have it. (On the other hand, I have to admit it'd be kind awesome to have some legitimate excuse to pull the fire alarm station, like for a drill or a small fire that an ABC extinguisher can neutralize before any injuries or major damage occurs)

Dude. I got to run a fire drill at my work once. It was the best moment of my life finally getting to pull one of those fire alarms switches and making all the bells and strobes go off! Does it still feel awesome when you do it?!

I find it odd that the Safepath keeps playing the message after you hit silence on the main system.
Is there any way, other than precise timing, to make it immediately stop playing when the main system is silenced?
Nope, well, unplugging the panel might work. Haha. I actually like that feature. That way it does not stop mid-sentence.
