@@itsrya6530 Spongebob is a surprisingly mundane character for a kids' cartoon though. He's a fry cook at a local burger joint for crying out loud, and he can't even drive. He also has very little ambitions besides learning to drive, and seems perfectly content as a fry cook working for a greedy boss. Compare this to say, Dexter, who is a genius with his own laboratory, or Powerpuff Girls, which is a show about superheroes. I think Spongebob is popular with adults because he's weirdly relatable even though he's not normal at all. Basically no kid would aspire to be Spongebob, and yet he's extremely likeable.

To be fair I think most of the jokes they're referencing are from seasons 2 and 3, but he is quite stupid for watching season 1, then skipping straight to 5 and missing the best parts of the series.

I heard the quiet man "playthough" was a trainwreck and I cant wait to see the TIHYDP.
The only thing I can give him is around the 22 minute mark I believe with that tilting pathway, at launch that didn’t work properly and would eat your jump and you’d hit the new ceiling below it, it made it much much harder to make that one jump and it was later patched out so the tilt wasn’t as extreme so you could pass, not much else I can give him credit for ReHydrated is significantly easier than the original game and seeing him fail so hard at this means he would have only suffered more playing the original, though the buff to the bubble bowl in this game was very nice

I don't understand Dsp fans. I was beyond shocked when I learned that people paid him money to vote for Spongebob and after he got the money he was like "Now wait a year for the remake version". What a POS. He should have dragged out a Ps2 or a GameCube and played it rather than force people to wait a year after they already paid. I've said it before, people shouldn't tip him at all. Give a homeless person or a waiter that money instead and they will appreciate it far more.

I really wish i can understand how he thinks his smarter than everyone but admits he hasn't seen half of the episodes of SpongeBob references. Like, i watched SpongeBob all my life and loved the two ps2 games. I only remember battle for the bikini bottom.
I missed out on grabbing this for PS2, didn't even know they remade it so looks like I have no excuse now not to get it.
I have a One X and a Model 2 Switch. I got this for Switch cause I like platformers on this console more than Xbox. Same reason I also got Spyro and the two Crash Bandicoot games for Switch. Joycons were made for platforming and I also like handheld mode.

Having personally played this through, I don’t really have any complaints towards DSP’s playthrough, none of the deaths here are truly egregious, and the fact that he actually understood the purpose of this more than professional reviewers is something else. Probably the first TIHYDP I haven’t thought he was entirely stupid at any point!

Also i thought phil considered this kid games but yet gets angry at a kids game
Critics scored Spongebob lower because they felt the game didn't do much newer to improve the game, but that's not what it was supposed to, it's a "remaster" not a "remake". Critics scored Last of Us 2 higher because of the graphics and woke politics injected into it. Users scored Spongebob higher because of the graphical improvements and the nostalgic revisiting of the game as well as for newcomers who might not have gotten to play it. Users scored Last of Us 2 Lower because of the terrible ending of the game and how they screwed the fans and the story over by killing off the protagonist in the way they did.
