Great hint! I have a relatively new Moster 185 and right after I crank it up, while it's still cold, if I give it just a little throttle, it dies. Once its warm, its no problem.
This is the exact setting I b personally like! I have learned how to warm it up in that condition and then it rubs great. But it is very sensitive to weather changes and rewrites fiddling. Little more open makes everyday life a lot easier.
Thanks for the information. My moster is running well but I have this problem on a different engine. I new it is a carb tuning issue but didn't know if it is too rich or too lean.
After 10 minutes of running my Cores Air 172 ,it will die and not start. I changed the carburetor and the reed valve the vacuum line. I guess I should maybe replace the fuel filter although it’s pretty new.
My new moster 185 has a very sensitive spot at 5500-6800 rpm, where throttle response is very unlinear. How to solve it? beside that, engine is running great, low speed needle adjusted as in Scout video earlier.

Did you find a solution at all? Having the same issue with what seems like a perfectly set low needle :(

Great videos guys and I use the information, but, please ditch that crazy psychotic tuneless intro music it is truly awful.
