I've seen December Avenue like numerous times and they're honestly so good live. I've seen them maybe 4-5x since I've become their fan and I've always enjoyed each and every one of those moments.

They are one of my favorite band since then, I have watched them live twice and they never disappoint even if one of those concert I have gone to, Zel, the vocalist changed the key for all of their songs since he is not feeling well it still was just good as the original.

If you listen to the studio version. It's sung in a higher key than this performance. Plus, the lead guitar is much more impactful and forward combined with the much more noticeable reverb. It literally transports you to a new world

The hardest part of this song vocally is that there's a lot of closed vowels "ee" that the vocalist needs to sing in his upper register. The tricky thing is, in Tagalog, you can't change the closed "ee" to a more open vowel like "eh" or "ah" because it sounds unnatural and awkward.

You can't appreciate Filipino music such as this Masterpiece if you do not understand Filipino language. It may not be as good as others but if you know and understand the music, you are given the opportunity to witness and experience the pure joy and pain on how this outstanding singer conveyed its emotion through its listeners like he is the person, he is the one suffering from a love too great to be to be controlled, giving him hope that there will be a chance, even for a moment to bring back the Greatest Love that was lost. He is Screaming in desperation for his love, his hopes blindly believingto his false hope even knowing it was futile. The Love can not be saved it can not be returned, it has already lost. But he chose to believe. I recommend listening to the Official Lyrics Video by Towerofdoom. The performance they give in Wish was lacking of emotions like they were uncomfortable with venue. Great song and for sure this will be a favorite by many younger generations
