Can't believe I'm watching Sparks break down these awesome tunes for public consumption.! The guy and I were both at The North Carolina School of the Performing Arts at just about the same time. We both studied with Jesus Silva and ended up playing the same kind of finger style guita but never met! too cool these vids!
This has to be one of the best guitar lesson video's for a song on youtube. Keep it up man. Your gonna make me look like a bad ass. Just one question I had, in the sequence starting with the hammer on to the third fret A string, That is the only hammer on there right? I have a tendency to play the rest of that part with hammer ons, except for the open D. I don't know why this part is difficult for me, my fingers want to do something else, but I see it's just the one hammer on there.
Zachary Villegas I keep feeling like it's hammer on's, at the end of that sequence, right. A hammer 3rd fret, then d hammer 3rd then open d. I don't believe that was specified too well, but your instructional video is still top notch. No offense man. I'm not worthy. :)
why is it that when I'm trying to do the part where my index is on 3rd of the B and my ring is on the 4th of the G where you pick the bottom 3 strings it sounds horrible I'm in correct tuning I made sure

I had the same problem just change the F# to F
