Man that thing moves, it was head to head with the R35 for a good part of the race.
The 8R should have no issue hitting 500hp on the stock turbo, stage 1 from unitronic is already at 450hp on 93oct/98ron and that’s a conservative tune.

The turbo doesn’t have more than 460hp in it. It’s already spinning at its max

@@spookyreaper1702 I agree, it has a lot more potential than the outgoing IS38 could make (400 break/350 wheel). I think this new continental turbo does ~450 break and 400 wheel?

@@spookyreaper1702 still such a new platform but I agree. Some bolt ons and a flash gets you pretty close though. Can’t wait to see people blow engines and find the limit lol THEN I’ll void warranty lol

@@redrosevisuals fr? Ah I’m waiting for it to be available here in South Africa I plan on making it stage 2+ from day one and drive it like that forever haha. TR hamza on TH-cam already has videos on the max output of the stock turbo with a tune. Pretty solid a bit better than the 7.5s but gotta remember it’s still the same 2.0tsi engine 😅
