Sunday Meditation with a Jumping Spider |

This "Tiny" little guy normally would have terrified me but thanks to those who have these lil buddies as pets and show videos of them - I found myself smiling at his presence on my chair and didn't feel terrified as I normally would have. We spent about 10 minutes looking at each other before he jumped off and ran over to the tree.
It was the perfect way to start my Sunday.

I'm trying to be more mindful of the little things around me, and jumping spiders have a lot to do with that. I'm noticing more that most spiders & insects are just timid little things that are terrified of us. I'm trying to remember that I don't want to mindlessly hurt them.

I'm finding myself really paying attention to which animals visit me like this. Feeling myself really listening to the messages they are sharing.
