    I like the luba vlog videos. You are by far the best at real life reviews for it. Fingers crossed they increase the size area. Mowing 2.5 acres in 95 degrees is killing me! Thanks for your videos.

    It would be great if they designed a garage that connected to a hose and auto cleaned the underside while charging.

    Might suggest taking a pressure treated 2x12, cut to lengths of the window plastic and screw thru the plastic into the vertical 2x12 to raise it above Luba. Might want to make top longer by overlapping the plastic to completely cover Luba. Nice find of the window cover! =D=
    This is something I would use for my outdoor train layout to use as a parking garage for the trains on a temporary need for rain or sun if I didn’t want to bring them all in at once.

    if you press the stop button and then double click the 'grass button' a number of times in a row, your cutting deck will lower to the lowest position, then raise again if you keep pressing. makes cleaning the mower deck much easier. you just have to remember that the lift sensor of the front axle is not activated, otherwise this function will not work.

    I ordered one today from home depot as well. Free shipping. I plan on moving mine to a slab and using one of those 3x3 rubber mats with the holes in it. I'll use zip ties to hold the charger base to the matt and the garage to the matt, with some bricks in between to give it more elevation.

    We just received our official Mammotion garage after a long delay and noticed that now it’s on sale for $150….which is still crazy for a piece of plastic but it does easily attach to Luba’s charging base. I did attach my GoPro 360 in the past, but haven’t tried it with the garage.

    You might look into graphite lubricant. I saw on a lawnmower page where they use it to keep lawnmower decks clean. I took apart my worx landroid and sprayed it. Going to give it a month and take a look and see if there are less grass clippings stuck underneath.

    Add me to the list... just ordered it for delivery from HomeDepot. Seen too many posts now about people saying some their Luba having water damage from water collecting from the stop button. Also following the issues about water damage to the RTK antenna. Are you concerned about that? Considering either adding seal to the seams or getting one of those 3d printed RTK covers. I'm concerned mainly because if something happens to the RTK... I have no idea how long it would take to replace it. I'm certainly not going to leave the RTK antenna outside during the Winter. But currently I've had some serious rain by me and Luba is working just fine being outside.

    • @Crazypostman
      @Crazypostman  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm not concerned about it in the slightest, If it breaks it'll be a warranty repair because it's built to live outside. And I'm definitely not taking RTK down in the winter. I'm sure luba will get to park in a closet for the winter though. But I've had a husqvarna automower in my backyard for years and it stayed outside every winter and it doesn't have a house and it's fine.

    • @twjonckheere
      @twjonckheere ปีที่แล้ว

      I just got my Luba and heard people talking about silicon sealing their RTK. So I bought a tube of silicon sealant from HD and put some over all screws and seams where pieces come together. Hopefully this will help water seal the RTK a little better.

    Leaving the Luba out in the elements is definitely a major shortfall. When not using I manually drive mine into the garage where its protected from the sun in the day and thieves at night. First thing in the morning he heads to the charging station while the dew dries.

      That's pretty awesome. There isn't a Husqvarna that I know of around here still running after 6 years! Hope you get the same longevity from the Luba. I had to order mine from HomeDepot and they shipped it to me free. Screw it to some 4x4's to raise it up and to keep it from blowing away?? Update 245 - It said something about fixing lift motor issue but the print was pretty small and didn't stay there very long. I did notice the iPhone app now has the battery level in black with white numbers and is much easier to read the charge status. It also seemed to fix the unexpected mow height change when you create a schedule and exit back out of the schedule. I hadn't noticed much more yet.

    GOOD MORNING ONE MORE QUESTION IF I MOVE MY CHARGING STATION JUST WANNA TURN IT FROM 12 OCLOCK TO 2 O CLOCK WILL I HAVE ANY PROBLEMS ?? MINE IS THE ONE THAT COMES HOME SOMETIMES BACK WARDS ONLY SOME TIMES SO I WANNA TRY TURNING IT.. THANKS YOUR DOING A GREAT JOP .. CAN YOU DO A JOP ON TAPE CUTTING A ZONE IN HALF AND CONNECT IT TO EACH OTHER TO GO TO CHARGING STATION ????? THANKS

    • @Crazypostman
      @Crazypostman  ปีที่แล้ว

      You should be able to move the charging station without causing problems. Luba will ask if you moved the charging station just say yes. You cannot cut a zone in half You have to delete the zone and remap two smaller zones. Technically you could edit the zone and cut one of them in half and then you would have to remap the second one but the edit function can be finicky sometimes I would just recommend deleting it and remapping The one large zone into two small zones slightly overlap the zones so it has a path to get through and won't miss anything

    I was able to "cheat" my total map to about 5800 sq/m. I did this by stopping forward motion when the warning came up, then tapping the target icon to recenter the mower and map. Doing this made the warning disappear and I was able to continue adding space. I repeated this process until I was done. I also mowed a couple of the maps following the process, just to test. However, the next day, when I went to start a new mow, all of my 5 maps and restricted zones had disappeared. Vanished. I rebooted my phone and restarted the map. Nothing. So I began the arduous journey of remapping. My mower abruptly stopped. I noticed a firmware update, so I installed it. Immediately after a successful install, the mower powered off and I have been unable to revive it. I'm wondering my experimentation somehow caused the catastrophic failure.
