UFC showed that this style of static martial arts would simply never happen in real life . No one ever stays still . Always some movement .. even a push or shove and hey presto our practised chroreography is null and void

It's called rebound. He's using his body to recycle the energy and redirecting it to the opponent.

So the opponent stands motionless and you slap your uniform to make sound effects? What garbage. Put on a cup and mouthpiece and do it for real. This crap was antiquated almost 30 years ago.

  • @stephenbradford7936

These techniques are great when the guy simply stands there in same exact position he tried to punch you from. Where is the cause and effect? If a person punches, and the other person blocks and strikes the attacker, there will be a reaction that takes place! The attacker just doesn't stand there with his arm outstretched in a punching motion, as you run through a chain of techniques. He will cover up, punch, resist, fall backwards, any of which, will make the rest of this BS impossible, because he will no longer be in the same position. This crap works great if you fight a person who telegraphs their attack, then maintains that same exact posture/structure, as you run through your flowery techniques. Fine motor skills, are the first thing that goes out the window in a high adrenal state, the idea you are going to "hit the shoulder blade just right, it dislocates" as an angry 240 pound guy tries to attack you, is laughable. It is also irresponsible to teach this garbage as means of self-defense...

The man can move and he is impressive to watch but nobody on the street will throw a step through punch like that, and even if they did they wouldny keep their arm out like that. This looks like showing off to eachother. Typical cult behavior.

Looks great when ur moving at top speed and ur opponent is moving in slowotion.
