I love all of these authors! I bought Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins series and I have yet to read them. I read all of Jenny Hans The Summer I Turned Pretty series and they're amazing! And I absolutely love Huntley Fitzpatrick and Morgan Matson books. I'm so glad you do videos on contemporary books!
I always reread a Sarah Dessen in the summer. I feel that fantasy is best read in the winter, contemporary in summer, new adult in autumn and thrillers in spring, even if I don't always stick to that.
just finished along for the ride by Sarah dessen loved it !! it is only the second novel I read by her the other one was last year around this time this lullaby

I will definitely try and make an effort to read more contemporary novels this summer because I've only just started becoming a mood reader. I used to be able to read anything at any time of year, but this is something that I've felt changing this year, and I'm very much feeling the pull of contemporaries now the weather is warmer.
I want to read the summer I turn pretty trilogy!! I bough the bind up in the winter and have just been waiting. It's so hard to find time to later though but I'm determined to read it this summer!!

I literally saw "the unexpected everything" in a bookstore the other day and i thought to myself "nah im not gonna buy it until i hear a booktuber review" BUT NOW IM KICKING MYSELF BECAUSE I WANT TO READ IT
