My aunt has been having a miserable time with her cancer and is soon likely to lose - and binge watching your videos, particularly pass-it-on, has been cheering me up. So, thank you guys (from a sad German).
I've lost four family members to cancer and have one who is living with it. It's so hard to watch, but being with them in whatever way you can, and making whatever memories you can will help some. Love to you and your aunt!

It is not that I pay attention to such things, but you guys can do a #TBT with a magnificent recipe for an oreo cake that looks as delicious as it taste. Certain ‘guest’ made an appearance reading thirsty comments, while dying inside. Absolutely worth it.

Smell memory is so strong sometimes. Not just with food either. It's the closest we get to time travel. A nostalgic smell can teleport you back to something you thought you'd forgotten.

One day she was babysitting me and her friend was down and they shared a bottle of lambrini but the friend started throwing up. And when people are been sick it makes me gag. Anyway they cleaned it up but to mask the smell the drowned the area in white musk perfume. And to this day maybe close to 30 years later if I smell white musk I’m there in that moment my sisters friend was been sick

Yes I’ve been told a lot of wine are not suitable for vegan because of this. Though I don’t think isinglass is gross, I thought it was rather ingenious, and if we’re gonna eat animal products, then we should waste as little of it as possible - where things like gelatine and isinglass come in.

SOmething I do with mulled wine: The remains after making the mulled wine, I remove any "hard" ingredients, add pectin, and make a mulled wine jam from it. It is delicious

The gravy test is one of those golden Sorted moments fellas. The fact that the chef picked the "smells like a pub" as the basic is either a scathing indictment of the posh one, or a glowing review of good old bisto. I like to think about it from the latter point of view. Fascinating.
One very useful redeeming feature of Bisto gravy is that it's suitable for vegetarians. So, if you have any veggie dinner guests, you can still make your fancy homemade gravy from the roast, but also knock up a little Bisto batch on the side.
12:52 - Been this way for pretty much my whole life too, when we do turkey or a roast, add it a bit of flour (or corn starch if you're my grandparents) and make your own.

Yes do this! Either a basic/premium/ trick home-improved option, or a series on how to improve staples like gravy, stuffing, rather than whole dish levelling up
As someone who has worked in food factories before even the basics are often better than you think, also remember a case where we did a line of "basic" supermarket salmon slices the cost was under £2 then once we hit the quota just changed labels for a premium label which was £10, even times when we did have "premium" ingredients often if the price was 3-5 times more to the consumer to buy the actual cost to the manufacturer wasn't even 1.5 times the price of the "basic" ones. On a similar note they do milk and cream deliveries near me from local dairy, I can pay under £2 for 500ml of double cream which tastes far better than a premium store bought brand and costs far less.
Im loving these Christmas episodes! This year has been hard on my family till to the point that they didnt even want to celebrate Christmas. But these vids brings so much Christmas joy to me even though its just through a computer screen. Thank you guys!
As a German, I agree, making your own Glühwein (mulled wine) can be the best option. Although you can usually find at least one booth at the Christmas Market that makes good one. The supermarket ones are usually unenjoyable. I have made my own with white or rosé wine before, since red wine gives me headaches anyway.
I wish I could explain why I love watching this channel, considering I'm the pickiest middle-aged human on earth. I dislike flavor. Any flavor. All flavor. I don't eat Chinese, Mexican, Indian, most meats or sauces. And yet..... giddy for a new video!

I just went to my local organic supermarket & bought a bunch of totally unnecessary fancy food. Sometimes gourmet food isn't worth the price difference but now & then you find something that just sets your tastebuds alight. I bought all of my favorites today as a Christmas treat to myself 😃

Yes do this! Either a basic/premium/ trick home-improved option, or a series on how to improve staples like gravy, stuffing, rather than whole dish levelling up
As someone who has worked in food factories before even the basics are often better than you think, also remember a case where we did a line of "basic" supermarket salmon slices the cost was under £2 then once we hit the quota just changed labels for a premium label which was £10, even times when we did have "premium" ingredients often if the price was 3-5 times more to the consumer to buy the actual cost to the manufacturer wasn't even 1.5 times the price of the "basic" ones. On a similar note they do milk and cream deliveries near me from local dairy, I can pay under £2 for 500ml of double cream which tastes far better than a premium store bought brand and costs far less.

Im loving these Christmas episodes! This year has been hard on my family till to the point that they didnt even want to celebrate Christmas. But these vids brings so much Christmas joy to me even though its just through a computer screen. Thank you guys!

As a German, I agree, making your own Glühwein (mulled wine) can be the best option. Although you can usually find at least one booth at the Christmas Market that makes good one. The supermarket ones are usually unenjoyable.
I have made my own with white or rosé wine before, since red wine gives me headaches anyway.
Mike‘s „Pfalz“ was actually very well pronounced. The rest we shall not mention.
