    There's nothing more heartbreaking than when Joseph takes a wildly unsupported position, somehow convinces both Danny and Jordan to join him in it, and is SOMEHOW PROVEN RIGHT.

    Joseph is pretty smart for inmediately figuring out that the guy in the first story was the real asshole, he's trying to manipulate his wife by creating a situation where she's forced to do what HE wants (by cheating) instead of just accepting that the relationship is not working and breaking it off for the good of both of them, the mature thing to do in that situation is just break it off, you've tried to fix things but things are not working your way so you accept it, but instead he makes things INFINITELY worse somehow and then blames it all on his wife while making himself look good in his reddit post lmaooo, peak redditor behaviour.

    I have trouble calling the first dude out on making sure he has evidence of his wife's behavior, because honestly some people will deny everything to their surroundings which can really negatively impact said surroundings when they don't know who to believe. On the other hand, taking said proof as a sign he can sleep with other women is wild, and they are really not a good person.

    • @Celestia282
      @Celestia282 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      If you are at the point in a relationship where you feel like you need to keep records of evidence to defend yourself, then you are in a toxic relationship and need to leave. Do not continue past that point.

    • @clayxros576
      @clayxros576 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      So depending on the other person, you may want to keep records just so you can show them their own conduct....cause they forget. But once faced with said evidence, they'll be more accepting the callout isn't bogus.
      That said, this guy 100% kept it as an Epic Own. You don't get your partner obviously not reading it, making an obviously hurtful crossout over it, then take it as a hall pass. You take that as a "Oh she needs meds, cause something in her has gone off balance."
      Like, even assuming he's been a monster about convincing her to have sex, it still all started with her outright refusing. And unless this guy was cheating from the start, that is a massive fissure in a relationship to just drop out of nowhere.
      Everyone sucks here, cause I'd bet if he was actually good, she'd be willing to work with him.

    8:27 we’ll aren’t you highlighting at problem with the American political system?
    Idk how voting works for you there but in Australia we at least have alternatives which help us voice our displeasure with major parties. Granted Labour (basically dems) or Liberal (basically republicans) will always take government, but the greens (far left), newly formed teals (centre right independents for disenfranchised former liberal voters who feel they’ve gone to far right) etc have an impact on elections. And the Teals certainly changed the last federal election here.
    There it seems like your options are exactly Biden, Trump or no one (no one = basically voting for the winner since your voice is not counted). And that sucks.

    • @spectralphantom380
      @spectralphantom380 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      yeah, we know. that's exactly how it works and it does indeed suck

    • @clayxros576
      @clayxros576 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It's even worse over here, cause the popular vote actually doesn't matter. The president is voted into office by the Electoral College, who is literally a secret society whome we don't know the members, an they can AND HAVE outvoted the popular vote.
      The excuse is that the EC votes based on what's popular in each of their states. But I'm sure you can immediately see the fallacy there: Why not just take the direct votes from each state?
      Can't even try and get the Senate or HoR changed, cause all of them Gerrymander to ensure they are majority in all districts. And to be clear; Gerrymandering is changing the borders on said districts so your opponent's are the minority.
      The entire voting system in the US is a joke, and only isn't obvious cause it's so big 1 party can't wrestle full control.

  • @RockmanX47

    For me, that first post was so massaged that I *knew* the guy was lying, I just needed to figure out what is the major lie to point out because the moment you find a lie in a story, then you can question everything else with more certainty. The moment I got it was when it clicked that the guy was narrating his last conversation on the topic because the idiot gave the game away. He basically told his wife, "I will not break off my relationship to the other person unless this counciling works." which to go back to earlier in said post, he would say that every conversation with his wife would end with her shouting and saying he is manipulating her.
    Yeah, he was. He's lying about it on reddit which puts holes into *everything* he typed. Dude could legit be a 40-some disgruntled man.

    • @jellewijckmans4836
      @jellewijckmans4836 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      This ignores the fact that accusations off emotional manipulation are in fact a pretty common way of doing emotional manipulation.
      Any amount of standing up for yourself or your needs is suddenly a grand abusive manipulation.
      Another of course is setting conditions for working on things and when those conditions get met you just back out or stonewall the process.
      Now no history of the second behavior and it's redit there is always a chance none of these people are real but not taking away her reason or trying before making her try does not in and of itself prove what you say it does.

    • @fireheart8878
      @fireheart8878 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      He is the one that created the issue by hiding the honey instead of talking about it. The moment he saw that she was eating the honey, the situation could have been solved by communicating. But because he tried to deceive her instead, he created a situation where she almost certainly doesn't understand why he is valuing the honey so highly, and as such, in her view the only real thing that makes sense is that her husband is being really weird with some random honey for no reason.
      It's like if he got a mini fridge for his office and hid the milk in there. It's weird as hell and shouldn't be a thing for a married couple. Until he tells her specifically why he wants to preserve this honey, it is completely his fault for any resulting arguments.

    Joeseph this might be your worst take ever, in regards to the first story. The couple should split up, yes that is clearly true. But why is it on the guy to divorce? Why can’t she divorce him? She’s the one who refuses to have sex with him, which is not a bad thing by any means.

    • @fireheart8878
      @fireheart8878 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The guy is the one that has an issue with the no intimacy. He has an issue, therefore it is on him to either continue to try and work things out, or decide to get out. The wife doesn't have an issue with the no intimacy thing, or if she does he clearly hasn't bothered to find out. She is not the one apparently having an issue with the relationship, he is, and so if it does come to them splitting, it is 100% on the dude to do that.

  • @xuspirahopte5549
    @xuspirahopte5549 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

    Just replace the first wife's sexuality to finding out she's "lesbian" instead and you can simplify the story. She is no longer capable of feeling that interest anymore. Why would you remain in that relationship? Ergo, the poster should not be trying to change this or attempt to stay in this.

    • @jellewijckmans4836
      @jellewijckmans4836 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If a woman figures out she is a lesbian mid marriage then either she would leave the marriage herself or if she couldn't for some reason she would be most definitely be fucking women outside of that marriage. If the guy is ok with being her beard that's between them but she definitely wouldn't have the right to stop him from fucking other women.

    GOD FUCKING DAMMIT
    You can truly love someone and have some aspect of incompatibility. The first guy ya he went to far but frankly he was unironically told to, he still loves her but feels need for sex and was told to seek it out elsewhere so he did.
    Edit: his comments are unhinged hea clearly the asshole. But the main post is extremely reasonable

    • @amycatass
      @amycatass 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      cannot disagree more. the entire post exudes asshole energy. an emotional response to trauma is completely understandable on the wife's part, and the husband is going out of his way to hurt her because she won't give him sex is repulsive.

    • @dlord96301
      @dlord96301 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @amycatass I don't disagree with that interpretation, and clearly in hindsight I missed some aspects of it and this guy was a terrible exampl. But as a general rule of thumb deciding not to have aex as a couple and allowing for other sexual activities doesn't mean you don't love your partner, which they always bring up. If the couple isn't have sex at least one of them says they should get divorced on that aspect alone which is what had me upset

    • @MrGshinobi
      @MrGshinobi 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      you don't cheat behind someone's back if you love her, you don't go out of your way to hurt them if you love them, he could have solved the situation multiple other ways but he chose the worst possible option that not only hurt his wife but also made the relationship even worse, that's not being "incompatible" that's being an asshole, the reasonable thing to do is just to divorce and stop causing each other even more troubles and pain.

    • @snes90
      @snes90 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I'm just adding that the "not hiding it" is a huge red flag. He knew if he actually told his wife he was going to have relations with another woman she would disapprove. He tried acting casual about it because he had "permission" but knew he was in the wrong. When push came to shove he couldn't literally say he was cheating, because it'd prove he knew what he was doing was wrong and give him less leverage.

    • @clayxros576
      @clayxros576 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@amycatass
      So first off: Yeah he's garbage for doing that.
      But Secondly, they got married with the presence and expectation srx is part of it. It's fine to lose interest later, but not making accommodations for your spouse IS abuse.
      A mutual romantic relationship means that you are putting responsibilities for your partners needs onto yourself. It's the entire point. If you don't want to find some way to fulfill your partner's needs you no longer have, including sex, you're also a monster.
      This dude is obviously a worse monster in many regards, just to reiterate. But, if we take his character at face value before the cheating, then she is being the abusive one. No notes.
      But looking through the Redditification, nah everyone sucks here.
